Appeal for financial support for Bharat Mukti Morcha Mega public meeting

Bharat Mukti Morcha is currently involved in number struggles involving defense of mulnivasi people. There are some financial costs involved to carry on these activities. Bharat Mukti Morcha is organising mega public meeting on Saturday, 29th October 2011 at 2.30 pm. Major costs involved in setting up of stage, sound system, rent of the hired chairs, rend of the Azad maidan, etc. This alone totals to around Rupees 23,000/- . In addition another Rs.50,000/- needs to be given as contribution from Goa to the national movement through the hands of our President Hon. Waman Meshram. Few people have began to contribute money for Bharat Mukti Morcha and we are thankful to them. More help is needed and you can make a difference by contributing.

Cutting into sanctuary buffer zones to pamper mining industry

Bharat Mukti morcha strongly condemns the attempts by Goa government to reduce the buffer zone from 10 kilometers to zero kilometers. This is done in order to satisfy mining industry by sacrificing the entire life support systems including water and forest.


Bharat Mukti Morcha also condemns Goa Chief Town planner S.T.Puttaraju for his defense of 0 kilometer buffer zone saying that it is in the interest of the tribal people. For the protection of tribal people there is forest rights Act 200 in place. If this act is implemented then tribal people's rights are protected. Goa government have been causing innumerable delays in implementation of forest rights act. In fact the talukas of Sanguem, Darbandora, Pernem and Sattari are totally kept away from the implementation of Forest Rights Act 2005.


Chief town planner is bluffing and creating a shield to protect mining industry. This is a brahmanical plot to destroy Goa forever and make Goa's mulnivasi people homeless, vagabonds. Baman Raj of Raj is responsible for this state of affairs and it must be made to  came to an end.

Fresh threats to Goa unit Bharat Mukti Morcha Mahila Aghadi Chief Maggie Silveira

Today 26^th October 2011 Maggie Silveira, President of Ilha de Vanxim Association received fresh threats to her life from two anonymous callers. At 7.30 am today she was contacted on her landline and asked to come to starred hotel for a lunch party for speaking so boldly to Chief Town Planner S. T. Puttaraju yesterday. They said they are lawyers who are admire Maggie Silviera and are involved in behind the scene operations.

Maggie Silveira is also the of President Bharat Mukti Morcha Mahila Aghadi, Goa Unit, an organization dedicated towards overthrowing Baman Raj in our country.

Maggie replied to them that you’ll may be lawyers of bamon Mahendra Gaunekar but she is too busy to come for any party. She said her priority is a Bharat Mukti Morcha Public meeting on 29^th October 2011 followed by the village gram sabha on 30^th October 2011.

She told them on 29^th there is mega public meeting and she will expect more calls. Not forgetting the gram sabha which is on 30^th October and she expects even more call. These calls will not surprise Maggie at all nor do they mean anything to her.

RPG-2021: Facilitation centre brahmanical ploy to keep away public participation

Goa's Town and Country planning department's facilitation centre announced on October 22, 2011 in  local dailies of Goa is primarily meant to keep away the public participation. Only the members of Panchayats and members of village panchayat planning committees of RP-2021 are included. The rest of the public with grave complaints against the RP-2021 are left with no scope of participation in this process.

This is utter disgusting and deserves to be rejected at once. Suppressing public participation at this stage makes mockery of all principles of democracy. Chief Town Planner is acting only diplomatically with high diplomacy.  RP-2021 at current stage is laden with land scams for hotels, resorts, mining etc. 10 meters and 15 meters roads for villages is highly objectionable. The time is now. Let us fight this menace.

If public is not allowed to correct it then it is best that Bamon Raj must be abolished  fully. With the effect of Poona pact of 1932 many Panchayat members have become slaves of the bamon raj. They cease to represent public.

Bharat Morcha Morcha is of the opinion that this facilitation centre be opened for all the member of public in Goa and not just for Panchayat members and members of village panchayat planning committees.

Chief Town Planner questioned on Vanxim water bodies being declared for hotels/resorts only

Goa's Chief Town planner S.T. Puttaraju was questioned yesterday 25 October 2011  over the declaration of Vanxim water bodies in survey no 8 as settlement zone for hotel/resort only. Bhatat Mukti Morcha and Ilha de Vanxi Association combined met the Chief town planner and questioned him on this scandal of his department.

After brief resistance Chief town planner was compelled to take note after being shown photographic evidence of  survey number 8 which is not a piece of land which is full a water body, a rivulet declared as settlement zone in RP-2021 for hotel and resort project only. Delegation led by Bharat Mukti Morcha's Mahila Aghadi chief Maggie Silveira condemned the Chief Town Planner as well as the Chief Minister Digambar Kamat for this act without doing ground level inspection and demanded immediate De-notification of the Regional Plan 2021 concerning Vanxim island.

Chief Town planner said he is going invite Ilha de Vanxim Association for a meeting at facilitation centre. No date of the meeting was given. 

This entire development in TCP resembles desperate attempts by brahmanical forces to take over land of the mulnivasi people. Mulnivasis of Goa are increasingly becoming aware of the multilayer Brahmanical conspiracy and are gearing up to join forces with mulnivasis in rest of India and work hand in hand to overthrow brahmanical yoke forever. Battles are intense indeed and your support is crucial.

Conditions of brahmanical bondage for a house and piece of land in Vanxim

We have gathered reliable information that on Monday 17th October 2011 evening there was a meeting at residence of Bamon Mario Pinto (Sarpanch of Divar/ Piedade) whereby a couple of people from Vanxim island were called for a meeting. Local panch Manuel Furtado, his brother Assis Furtado gathered these few people and took them for this meeting telling them that their sale deeds will be done if they support so called project.


At this meeting there was a Lawyer, also a Bamon that represents Archbishop of Goa as he declared himself "I am the Archbishop's lawyer but I am not sent by Archbishop and I will help you'll to get your sale deeds done" Waman Meshram often says in his public speeches that Brahmins/Bamons who are Lawyers are double badmash.


People said 'we will not allow the project until sale deeds are done'. Immediately chamchas of Mahendra Gaunekar jumped the chair and said 'we will take in writing from you'll that when the project work will start you will not raise any objections. Only under this conditions your sale deeds will be done.' Right to express is freedom guaranteed under the Constitution of India under Article 19. This covers right to dissent. If Mahendra Gaunekar finds constitution of India as a threat to realization of his disastrous project then it is very serious matter.


If the Constitution of India Gaunekar want to subvert by submitting people of Vanxim in this throttling fashion then decisive moment is fast approaching to defend the Constitution of India in Vanxim as well as rest of Goa. Bamons in any way never believed and respected constitution of India or 75% of this country would not have been in poverty.


In any case they have turned Indian democracy into brahmanocracy. What is happening over Vanxim is totally understandable. Constitution of India is a threat to the Bamons whether it for Mahendra Gaunekar, Archbishop of Goa Felipe Neri Ferrao, his Lawyer, Sarpanch Mario Pinto and all other Bamons who are doing business also because they are also given right to do so by this very constitution of India.

Vanxim: failed attempt to bribe Bharat Mukti Morcha Mahila Chief

Today 18th October 2011 at 3.45 pm attempt was made to bribe Bharat Mukti Morcha Women's front Goa chief. Maggie Silveira who is also the President of Ilha de Vanxim Association was phoned by someone claiming to be Christian and the sarpanch of the neighboring village. These are the points of discussions:
1. He said that he and his three friends are giving full support whatever Maggie asks for.
2. He asked "Why you are opposing Project in Vanxim?"
3. 'What are the reasons for opposing the project?'
4. 'I want to have immediate meeting with you'.
5. 'Whatever money you demand will be given'.
6. Sarpanch himself said 'there will be lot of employment opportunities for local people'. At this moment Maggie replied 'How many jobs our local people are having in whole of Goa?' That that moment he named one minister that resides near by Panjim and said 'I will speak to him ad whoever is jobless will get the job. This I promise to you'. Immediately Maggie replied saying how can you talk of employment when we don't want the project at all? Again he said in konkni 'Hanga Kitem Ieonk Zai' (something must come up here). Maggie replied 'Hanga kitech ionk amcho ganvcho lok divcho-na' (our villagers will not allow anything to come up at Vanxim.)
7. Maggie concluded "OK Bye" and kept the receiver down.


This phone call is one of the pressure tactics to buy mulnivasis and establish Baman Raj. The caller and Mahendra Gaunekar believes that everyone is up for the sale just because Gaunekar was successful in buying Vanxim Island land from Archbishop of Goa who compromised his ethics to the core.


This project is promoted by bamon Mahendra Gaunekar and he is working very hard to involve MLAs, Ministers of the Goa Government. More people Gaunekar tries to involve to push ahead these insidious ways of land grab more people are going to turn against him and consequences will be there for all to witness.


Goa Archbishop bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao is responsible for this as he is the one in whose name Santa Monica lands are sold on record.

Siolim burns, Bamon CM Digambar Kamat fiddles

 Siolim is burning, it is fuming with toxic. Its virgin hills at Marna are are set on deadly fire to the disposed chemicals. Burnt chemicals sent the message of alarm. Another Bhopal disaster in the making. Fire raging without halt since 10th October 2011. This time there is no factory. Only the burning industrial waste disposed on the mountain top. Siolim villagers alarmed and jerked out into new awareness of toxic and those responsible for creating it. Siolim is not the only village to get affected, its fumes blown away in winds to Assagao, Morjim, Duler-Mapusa.

 Siolim villagers petitioned with 139 signatures protesting the disaster submitted to various authorities like Panchayat, Primary Health Centre, Deputy SP, Mapusa police station, Pollution Control Board, SDO and Deputy Collector, Mapusa.

 While the hills burnt authorities passed the buck to each other without anyone taking any responsibility.

 Villagers went to forest department but they did not entertain the complaint in Carraswada office.

Released gas from the fire sent out fumes that caused vomiting, coughing, breathing difficulties.Bharat Mukti Morcha declares support to the this protest movement.

Vanxim villagers harrasment condemned

Ilha de Vanxim Association condemns daily harassment of of Vanxim villagers. 98,000 square meters of land is the land whereby our ancestors have lived for centuries. We are their decedents followed by our children.

Under what right Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar is sending his manager Bruno Ferrao every single day to click snaps of our houses and surrounding  properties of our Vanxim residents? Under what authority Bruno Ferrao hailing from an island of Divar, Piedade is troubling our villagers every single day by coming with couple of photographers? Has Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao given his permission (to Mahendra Gaunekar, Bruno Ferrao) to do so?

Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao has no right to trouble the villagers with this type of activity.

The concern authorities kindly investigate in this matter. The vigilance department kindly make note of all this. CID please take note.
