How Bamons used and discarded Marathas-OBC-Kunbis in India - Part 1

This is an English translation of speech made by current National President of Bharat Mukti Morcha Waman Meshram on 21st March 2009 at Daud, Pune. The original speech was in Hindi, and it was translated into Marathi by Prof.D.R.Ohol and published in a book form. From Marathi this speech has been translated into English by Sebastian Rodrigues. This speech is very informative and highly informative. It is particularly relevant to the current state of Marathas and OBC in India and in Goa too in view of ongoing agitation to demand caste based census in India which brahmanical Indian government refuses.

Today the question of Maratha-Kunbi-OBC reservation is a burning issue. Lok Sabha elections will take place in April 2009. Assembly elections will take place around November 2009. That time this question will get further aggravated. It is the issue of reservation. It is the issue of Representation.

What is Reservation?
SC, ST, OBC, Ex-CT gets reservation. These people deserve reservation. Amongst these people most of the people do not have any information as to what is reservation. Dr. Ambedkar says “Reservation for those who are not adequately represented”.

Views about reservation
a)    Amongst SC, ST, OBC most educated hold a perspective that reservation is crunches, alms, means self-devaluation, means handicap, means misery, means a way of poverty alleviation or below poverty line program. Reservation is also understood by some as a program to mitigate with unemployment. Most of the educated amongst SC,ST,OBC feels this way.

But is it really true that reservation is crunches, alms, means self-devaluation, means handicap, means misery, and means a way of poverty alleviation or below poverty line program, as program to mitigate unemployment? Is reservation means only jobs?
Answers to all the above questions are ‘No’.

Logical analysis
1)    If reservation means crunches then why our mulnivasi Mahapurushas struggle for reservations in their entire lifetime? Crunches are with only handicapped people. Were our mulnivasi Mahaprushas wished to win crunches to us so that we can become handicapped forever? Did they desire that we live in misery and desperation? Did they wish to make us beggars? Was these were wishes and desires of Phule-Periyar-Shahu-Ambedkar? Definitely not. Are we clever than them? Are we intellectually more advanced than them? Was Dr.Ambedkar wnted to make mulnivasi people handicap or rulers? To consider reservation as crunches or as alms in beggary is equal to insulting Phule-Shahu-Periyar-Ambedkar. It is like self believing oneself as intellectually more advanced than these mulnivasi Mahapurushas.

Dr. Ambedkar calls Reservation as Representation.

Logical analysis
2)    If reservation is crunches, if reservation is alms given in beggary, if it is a misery, if it is a poverty alleviation program, if it is unemployment alleviation program then why Eurasian Brahmins oppose reservations? This must be understood adequately by mulnivasi bhahujans.
The opposition to reservation from Eurasian Brahmins is not superficial. It is serious one where they even are willing to give up their lives in indefinite hunger strikes.
When Dr.Ambedkar raised the issue of Reservations in the Constituent Assembly Pandit (Brahmin) Jawaharlal Nehru and his Congress (Party of Brahmins) opposed reservation. And what was the logic provided while opposing reservations?
“With Reservation efficiency of the government will suffer and will create inferior quality nation.”  - Pandit Nehru and Congress.
What reply did Dr. Ambedkar give to this logic of Pandit Nehru?
“Representative Government is better than efficient Government?”  - Dr. Ambedkar.

Logical Analysis
3)    The perspectives of Mulnivasi Mahapurushas on Reservation
Reservation is share in Power. Reservation is the issue of Representation. This is not the issue of reducing mulnivasis to beggars but to make us mulnivasis into ruling community, to make us into Kings, into owners.

b)    Fears in the minds of Marathas-Kunbi-OBC People (Understanding)
Reservation means to reduce oneself to the level of Mahar, Mang, Chambar, and Dhor. After asking reservation we will become Mahar-Mang-Chambar-Dhor. Demanding Reservation means to reduce oneself to untouchable. Because of this on the issue of Reservation for Marathas-kunbis-OBC all the Marathas-Kunbis-OBC did not come together in unity. But they came together to Ram Temple. Here 67,000 youth from Maratha-Kunbi-OBC were killed. This means that we do not come together for our own Rights. But we come together for the Rights of Eurasian Brahmins so that then continue to be ruling caste again and again. For this we come together, we agitate, we even die. To fight to construct Ram Temple means to fight for the Eurasian Brahmins because in temple there are reservations only for Eurasian Brahmins. Temples are the sources of employment of Eurasian Brahmins. Here there is 100% reservation only for Eurasian Brahmins.

Practical Analysis

Who are Marathas-Kunbi-OBC?

1)    As per Varna Maratha-Kunbi-OBC are Shudras. Meaning according to Brahmin dharma Maratha-Kunbi-OBC are Shudra. Because they are not Brahmin/Kshatriya/Vaishya. In this sense they are Shudras.
Proof: ‘According to brahmin dharma Marathas are Shudras’ Author: Pravin Gaekwad.
2)    Eurasian Brahmins has given in writing to Marathas-Kunbi-OBC in birth and marriage  horoscopes (Kundali)  that Maratha-Kunbi-OBC are Shudras by Varna and Rakshas by Gana.
·         Varna – Shudra
·         Gana – Rakshas
·         Yoni – Antyanya
·         Vansh – Nag
This horoscope (kundali) writer is Brahmins with qualification of 4 or 8 standard pass or fail. The one who takes these writing is Maratha-Kunbi-OBC who holds M.A, Ph.d degrees. And for this he pays dakshinas to Euresian brahmin. And how much dakshina is given? He pays him Rs.101/- or Rs. 501/- or Rs.1001/- and takes in writing. What he takes in writing from brahmin?
  • Varna – Shudra
  • Gana – Rakshas
  • Yoni – Antyanya
  • Vansh – Nag
It is our birth. In our house, from our parents but horoscope (Kundali) is with Brahmins. Are we going to prosper this way? This situation is like giving permission to robbers and dacoits to loot our homes.
3)    On 6th June 1674 Kulvadi Bhushan, Bhahujan Pratipalak Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj decided to himself crowned as Kings (Rajabhishek). That time Pune Brahmins insulted him as Shudra. Kulvadi Bhushan, Bhahujan Pratipalak Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj based on his own moral strength and with power of his sword had established the rule of Mulnivasi Bhumiputras in nooks and corners of Sahyadris. But to get himself crowned as King he went to the Brahmins of Pune. That time Pune Brahmins insulted him as Shudra. Inspite of Shivaji establishing his own chatrtej rule Pune Brahmins insulted him and refused to crown him as king (Rajabhishek). The truth is when you establish your rule you have to use your sword. While crown as king it is only required to put a tilak on the forehead. To put this tilak there is no need of wielding a sword. Even then Eurasian Brahmins refused to crown Shivaji as King (Rajabhishek). Moreover they insulted his as Shudra.
4)    After Kulvadi Bhushan, Bhahujan Pratipalak Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Mahapratapi Chatrapati Sambaji Maharaj: powerful father-son Maratha combination as rulers was destroyed Brahmins put incapable Chatrapati Rajaram, son of Soirabayee was installed as King by Eurasian Brahmins. But they put 13 conditions for his rule and one of them was “I am a Shudra and it is acceptable to me”. They took this in writing from him.
5)    From 1899 to 1905 Rajashree Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj was demanding priestly rights. That time Eurasian Brahmins declared as ‘Shudra’. That time Bal (Keshav) Gangadhar Tilak declared in uttered humiliating manner “We had granted temporary Kshatriyahood to Shivaji Maharaj.”  On 29th October 1901 Bal (Keshav) Gangadhar Tilak wrote an editorial in his newpaper ‘Kesari’ Title of this article was ‘Marathas and Vedothak karma’.  In this editorial he writes that Shudras (Brahmanetar) must not insist on reading of Vedas.’ This is his expressed opinion. From this we need to ponder on someone whom we call ‘Lokmanya’ whether his views can be agreeable to the people (Lok)? We have to think on this. These views that increase discrimination, do they fit in patriotism or in anti-national activities? This must also be decided. Truly speaking Tilak must be called ‘Bhatmanya’ or ‘Brahmanmanya’.
6)    In 1848 Rashtrapita Jyotiba Phule was insuted by Eurasian brahmin Sakharam Paranjpe by calling him ‘Shudra’ and was thrown out from the wedding party.
7)    In 1869 Rashrapita Jyotiba Phule searched and found Samadhi of Kulvadi Bhushan, Bhahujan Pratipalak Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Brahmins had killed Kulvadi Bhushan, Bhahujan Pratipalak Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Phule revived his memories again. To prove identity of Marathas to Marathas he cleared up Shivaji Maharaj’s Samadhi. Rashrapita Jyotiba Phule was searching the Samadhi for three days. Samadhi was hidden under the wild growth of bushes and covered with dirt. With axe Rashtrapita Jyotiba Phule cleared the vegetation and traced the Samadhi of Kulvadi Bhushan, Bhahujan Pratipalak Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He wiped away all the leaves from the Samadhi and washed it in clean water. Just when he was about to put flowers on the Samadhi village bhatji - Gramjoshi of Raigad understood this and turned red with anger. Topless with wavering zanvem (sacred thread) he came and kicked away from poured on the Samadhi. We however worship and touch the feet of these Brahmins. If Shivaj Maharaj was alive then then would have torn away the leg that kicked his Samadhi.  While kicking the Samadhi of Shivaji Maharaj that illetrate bhatji said to Phule “Hey you Shudra, you believe this Kunbhat as God, hey, what God he is? He was a King of Shudras. You forgot about about giving dakshinas to GramBhat and over that what Pooja you are performing of this Kunbhat? This means in 1869 this illiterate brahmin was abusing biggest personality of Marathas as ‘Kunbhat’, insulting him as ‘Shudra’. ‘Kunbi’ is a jati. ‘Kunbhat’ is an abusive word. It is like how ‘Brahmin’ is Varna as well as Jati. While ‘Baman’ is an abusive word.
8)    In 1918 South bureau commission visited India. Why did it visit? To fulfill the demands of the Congress that was set up in 1885. What were congress demands? ‘Give us (Eurasian Brahmins) share in power under British rule meaning reservations.’ For this Congress Brahmins were calling Home rule agitation. At this time few more people demanded representation in the share in Power. Who were these people?
a)    Hon. Bhaskarrao Jadav (M.A, LL.B.), Maratha-Kunbi. Demanded representation for Maratha-Kunbi-OBC.
b)    Dr.B.R.Ambedkar (M.A, Ph.d, M.Sc, D.Sc., L.L.D, D.Lit, Bar-at-law) Demanded representation for untouchables.
c)    Barrister Mohamad Ali Jinnah demanded representation for Muslims.

When congress was demanding representation for everybody then why these three put up separate demands? It is because these three did not have faith in Congress because congress demands were only for Eurasian Brahmins. This was clearly known to all these three.

At a time when Hon. Bhaskarao Jadav put up the demand for representation for Maratha-Kunbi-OBC on the recommendation from Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj, that time Bal (Keshav) Gangadhar Tilak organized public meeting in in between Kolhapur and Belgaum at a place called Athani. In this public meeting Tilak said “Are Teli, Taboli and Kunbhat going to plough in the Parliament?” Kunbi is a Jati while ‘Kunbhat is its abusive word with extreme hatred. This means that in 1869 one illiterate Brahmin after kicking Samadhi of Kulwadibhushan Chatrapati Shivaji abused as ‘kunbhat’ and on 14 February 1918 Bal (Keshav) Gangadhar Tilak used same abusive word ‘Kunbhat’ against Marathas in a public meeting at Athani. You imagine now as to how much hatred and Anger about Marathas-Kunbi-OBC  Tilak mush have been filled with. Tilak abuses Maratha-Kunbi-OBC as ‘Kunbhat’ while Maratha-Kunbi-OBC call him ‘Lokmanya’. Truly he was ‘Bhatmanya’, ‘Brahmanmanya’. Media made turned him into ‘Lokmanya’.

9. According to Brahmin dharma Maratha-Kunbi-OBC has no right to conduct rite of munj and wear Janvem.  They have no right to perform any religious rite independently. This because according to Brahman dharma they are Shudras.

10. Take a live example of  Hon. Ashok Chavan, Chief Minister of Maharastra.

a) Is Ashok Chavan Brahmin?
Ashok chavan is not a brahmin.
b)Is Ashok Chavan kshatriya?

On 6th June 1674 Chatrapati Shivaji, Chatrapati Rajaram and in 1899 to 1905 period Rajashree Shahu Maharaj was declared Shudra. That’s why Ashok Chavan is not Kshatriya.

c)Is Ashok Chavan Vaishya?

Ashok Chavan is not a Vaishya.

d)This means Ashok Chavan is left with only one Varna and that means Shudra, meaning OBC. Today Eurasian brahmin declare that only two Varnas are remaining in India. Which are the two?

1)Brahmin    2) Shudra

Who is a Maratha Precisely?
1.    The word Maratha differs regionally like Maratha-Kunbi, Maratha-Mali, Maratha-Parit, Maratha-Nhavi, Maratha-Sonar, Maratha-Kumbhar, Maratha-Sutar, Maratha-Shimpi, Maratha-Koshti, Maratha-Salli, Maratha-Dhangar etc. Meaning one who resides in Maharastra is a Maratha. This was used cleverly by Eurasian Brahmins. By this they left behind true Marathas and went ahead. They took themselves the name ‘Maratha’. Example (a) ‘Marathi step advances ahead’ actually ‘Eurasian step advances ahead’.
(b) ‘Injustice on Marathas will not be tolerated’ actually it is injustice in Eurasian Brahmins will not be tolerated’. If they say this directly then nobody will go along with Eurasian Brahmins. That’s why Brahmins use this word ‘Maratha’ with cleverness of a fox. (c) In the name of ‘marathas’ Eurasian Brahmins swallowed the vacancies of the genuine Marathas in government administration. To  do this they called Marathas ‘open’. Actually Marathas are not ‘open’. ‘Open’ are Brahmins, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas. Open (Sarvan) mean of the same colour. Shudras are not of their colour.

Actually the word ‘Maratha was first used by Ramdas when he wrote “Maratha Tituka Melvava
Maharastra dharm vadvava”

Very important thing to note here is that Ramdas does not say ““Maratha Tituka Melvava Hindu dharm vadvava” because that time there was no hindu dharma but ony Varna dharma meaning chaturnya dharma.

2.    History of Marathas

In Maharastra Marathas are nagvanshi. Aryas and Nagas were at war, a bloody war. Aryabrahmins of that time used to call nagvanshis (today’s Marathas as most dangerous enemies. Arya means Erasian brahmin and Nag means non-aryan people means Dravidians. ‘Arya’ means those who came from outside. This means Eurasian Brahmins are foreigners. Non-Aryans means those people who have not come from outside. They are from here itself, they are mulnivasi Dravidian people. This means all these people are mulnivasi Indians. Marathas is/was a marshal race. Marathas was/are fighters’ jati. But they are not the Kshatriyas of the Chaturvarna system. They are the Kshtriyas of the india’s indigenous republican system – Ganavyavastha.

Kshatriyas are of two types:
1. Chaturvana Kshatriya (foreigner)
2. Ganavyavastha Kshatriya (Mulnivasi)

Today if Marathas believe themselves as Kshatriyas according to the Chaturvarna system then place themselves as the defenders or supporters of the Eurasian Brahmins. Truly Marathas are Kshatriyas from Ganavyavastha. They instead of becoming defenders of Eurasian Brahmins, Supporters of Eurasian Brahmins, Champions of Eurasian Brahmins they must become defenders  of the mulnivasi Bhahujan Samaj. They must support mulnivasi bhahujan samaj. They must champion the cause of the mulnivasis and fight against Eurasian Brahmins.

Eurasian brahmin is foxy smart. At the time of giving them rights they insult Marathas by calling them ‘Shudras’. But why Brahmins want themselves to be protected that time they call them Kshatriyas. Brahmins at the time of rajabhishek  called Kulvadibhushan, Bhahujanpratipalak Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj shudra. They then went on calling Shivaji Gobrahmanpratipalak too. This means Brahmins never changes their objectives they change their diplomacy regularly. We mulnivasis regularly get trapped in their diplomacy. At the end we accept their leadership. Eurasian Brahmins never become followers. They always become leaders. They never become disciples. They always become Gurus (Advisors).

In Maharastra just the way Marathas are Nagvanshis same way mahars are also nagvanshis. Mahars too is a marshal race. They are also fighters. Brahmin considers mahars too as its great foe. Eurasian Brahmin and Mahars have fought bloody wars. That’s how Marathas and Mahars have common surnames. Mulivasis have their ‘Kuls’ while Eurasians have their ‘gotras’.

Proof 1): Rashtripita Jyotirao Phule’s ideal :-

Rashtrapita Jyotirao Phule says: One farmer gave birth to three children. Out of them first one got himself engaged into farming. So he was called Kunbi. Second child got into cultivation of other variety of plants like those of vegetable, fruits and flowers. He began to be called Mali. Third child started taking sheep and goats for grazing. He began to be called Dhangar. These are basically three jatis. From these thousands of other jatis evolved. Eurasian Brahmins has no relations with farming because according to manusmriti it is a sin for a brahmin to engage in agriculture.

Proof 2) “Broken men theory”  Author: Dr. B.R.Ambedkar

In this well researched essay Dr.Ambedkar has proved that the surnames of all the mulnivasi jatis match. Example Gaekwad is a surname is found amongst everyone except Eurasian Brahmins. From this it can be concluded that all people from 6000 jatis share common ancestry. We share common history, we share common DNA, and we share a common race. We are bhumiputras, we are mulnivasis. All this we had no clue what so ever. Eurasian Arya bramins devided us into 6000 jatis. Within each jati created 12 or 13 sub-jatis. Like this there are 75,000 jatis in India.

Proof 3) In a researched book ‘Who were shudras?’Dr.Ambedkar has proved that Maratha-Kunbi-OBC was never shudras earlier but they were rulers. Later on by writing of writing of religious scriptures Brahmins transformed them into shudras. After transforming them into shudras they were deprived of rights to education, kingdoms and wealth. In western countries those without rights are called slaves. In India Brahmins through the act of writing of religious scriptures deprived shudras of their rights. They were transformed into slaves. In order to tell shudras that ‘you were rulers and not slaves, brahmins by writing of religious scriptures has deprived you of your rights’ Dr.Ambedkar wrote this well researched book.

Proof 4) Prof. Ashok Rana – Yavatmal

This person in one of his books proved that Marathas and Mahars were brothers earlier. But Eurasian Brahmins do not allow Marathas and Mahars to come together. On the contraray they have created situation of hatred between two communities. Foxy smart Brahmins called Marathas Kshatriya and due to this there is brahmanisation of Marathas. This is a biggest block in our propaganda. That’s why we have to make people understand that ‘according to Brahman dharma Marathas are Shudras.’

Proof 5) This is about those who believe themselves to be Marathas: In the beginning there was three tiered varna system. In this system there were Brahmins, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas; only these three Varnas. Then how did fourth Varna came about? Amongst the Vedas earliest Veda is Rigveda. In this Rigveda there is information about only three Varnas.
1) Brahmin
2) Kshatriya and
3) Vaishya.

There is no information about the fourth Varna. According to the linguistics and grammar it is proved that purushsukt was inserted later. That means attempt has been made to present that Chaturvana is an ancient system.

This means in earlier system there were only three varnas. Then the question arises as to from where fourth Varna rose up? Intense struggle took place between Eurasian Brahmins and Kshatriyas from here. Who should be the first one to greet ‘namaskar’ was the issue on which this struggle began. This turned out to be very dangerous struggle. This struggle bet kshatriyas and Brahmins truned out to be so violent that Brahmins tells us that sixth Avatar Parshuram destroyed the earth 21 times to kill Kshatriyas from here. By the way Parshuram did only two important jobs in his lifetime.
1) He murdered his mother Renuka because she was a mulnivasi.
2) He destroyed this earth 21 times to kill kshatriyas from here.

This is a story of epic that unfolded in India. After killing kshatriyas how did they survive? If they did not survive then how did they were killed again?

The meaning of this is only that there was tense relationship between brahmin and mulnivasi kshatiryas from here. Open and violent struggle took place. To describe the gravity of the struggle they used this language. Sixth Avatar Parshuram killed khstriyas 21 times means there was violent struggle between Eurasian Brahmins and mulnivasis 21 times.

Once killed how did people lived? If they never lived then how did they were killed again and again? In future some people may doubt this logic that’s why they made provision of answer. How?

Eurasian brahmins give shameful answer ….

After killing all the kshatriyas their women became widows. All these widows went to Eurasian Brahmin and said “Oh Bhudev (Brahmin), it is not correct to leave this land without kshatriyas. That’s why you put son in our wombs.” In this way Eurasian Brahmins put sons in their wombs. In this way kshatriyas were born again. This means religious scriptures of the Brahmins violate honor of today’s kshatriyas and declares them cheaters. Secondly no women would to the murderer of her husband and ask to the establishing of sexual relationship. And mulnivasi women of India will never do this. This means Eurasian Brahmins committed atrocities against mulnivasi women who were widows. Khstriyas were wielding sword and on the power of sword were wining themselves kingdoms. Religious scripture writers brought about obstructions in this trend. Which obstructions? They put condition that in case mulnivasi kings want to administer punishment to the subjects then their kings must be crowned (Rajabhishek) at the hands of a Brahmin. This was a binding condition put on mulnivasi kshatriyas. Further on those mulnivasi kshatriyas who accepted this condition of Eurasian Brahmins were decalred to be kshatriyas. Those who refused to accept superiority of Brahmins were pushed into Shudra Varna.

Thereafter means after the end of Kind Nanda Eurasian Brahmins declared through Puranas that now there are only two varnas 1) Brahman and 2) Shudra.

In the beginning they announced three Varnas. Then they themselves announced four varnas. After that they themselves made a declaration of two Varnas. Mulnivasi bhahujan Samaj must keep in mind as to how Eurasian Brahmins change their colour.
With the above examples and explanation it is hoped that understanding amongst Maratha-Kunbi-OBC that reservation means to become like Mahar-Mang-Chambar-Dhor will change.

Current state of Marathas in Maharastra today. Maharastra is divided into five parts.
1) Western Maharastra – Maratha (because of prevalence of Lion)
2) Marathwada – maratha (because of prevalence of State of Nizam. Nizam was a brahmin)
3) Konkan – Kunbi
4) Vidharbha – Kunbi
5) Khandesh - Kunbi

That’s why except western Maharastra and Marathwada mulnivasi Marathas are seen to be associated with the struggle. Reservation is not the program of converting into Mahar-Mang-Chambar-Dhor but it is a program of making entire mulnivasi people into politically ruling community. This must be kept in mind.

·         There is one school of thought that holds that reservation should not be based on caste but on economic status. This thought is of Eurasian Brahmins. But the mouths that speak this thought are of mulnivasis. We mulnivasi bhahujan samaj listen to only that what Eurasian Brahmins tell, we read only that what they write, we behave as they suggest, We see only that what they show, we pay minute attention to only that they want us to pay minute attention to. This process is called ‘mind control’. Bodies are ours but mind and brain is controlled by Eurasian Brahmins. Strength lies in brain, not in bodies.

How bamons used and discarded Scheduled Tribes in Goa

Scheduled Tribes in Goa namely Gawdas, Kunbis and Velips have been historically exploited by Bamons in Goa. These tribes officially numbering over 1 lakh 60 thousand people consists of 12.5% of Goa’s population are increasingly being pushed to the margins. The reason for this is Brahmanical State structure in India as well as Goa.

Tribes in Goa has been taking initiatives to organize themselves since mid 1970s and they succeeded in getting recognized as Scheduled Tribes nearly 12 years ago amidst very tight opposition from brahmanical agents.

It was a body blow for the brahmanical forces that tribes in Goa succeeded in getting recognition for themselves Scheduled tribes. Politically tribes in Goa emerged as a major force to reckon with in 2000-01 when Bamon Manohar Parrikar was a Chief Minister. He tried his level best to demoralize and discourage tribal movement during his last sting as Chief Minister.  His role can be best explained from these extracts of the press release from Gawda, Kunbi, Velip and Dahngar Federation (GAKUVED) dated 2nd July 2008 “Mr. Manohar Parrikar has never helped and supported the GAKUVED Community. He has only used this community as vote bank to secure his position in Power. In 2000, when Mr. Parrikar was leading the State Government, GAKUVED has arranged a Morcha on 01-03-2000 to demand inclusion of their name in Central list of ST. On 02-03-2000 the delegates of GAKUVED tried to meet Shri Parrikar at Farmagudi to give him the Memorandum, Shri Parrikar expressed, "Bhausaheban mhaka trasan udoilo, vadea vadeani shala kadleo ani." (Dayanand Bandodkar, the first Chief Minister of Goa has put me in trouble, for he opened primary schools in different wards of villages providing education). What Shri Parrikar wanted to tell the delegates, readers you judge.

When GAKUVED was struggling to get this community included in the Central List of Scheduled Tribes his government with the help of some of our community members had tried to delete the names of GAKUVED community from the list. When the list was published in Times of India, the GAKUVED members rushed to New Delhi and met Secretary, Tribal Welfare where it was informed that at the instruction of the local BJP government the list have been changed. Then GAKUVED had filed Writ in the Parliament through the then MP Shri Ramakant Angle to include names of GAKUVED community in the Central List. Unfortunately Dhangar community was excluded from the list due to the politics of BJP Government.

In 2003 delegates of GAKUVED met him in his Chamber to inquire about implementation of Tribal Act in the State of Goa. Mr. Parrikar remarked, "Mhaka tumche Gaudea lokancho abhiman dista. Madkai majea mamalea Bhatant tumche gaude lok sogle kam sanginastana kartat and magir Mapusa majea bhatant yeun moino bhor kam kortat." (I am proud of Gawada community. They work in my uncle's plantation at Marcaim and after finishing that work, they work in my plantation at Mapusa without my knowledge for one month). By this remark Mr. Parrikar just wanted to tell that you are good in doing manual work in plantations and must continue doing that without taking education and Mr. Parrikar will continue to enjoy the fruits of free labour for eternity.

This he has proved during his reign as CM by raising tution fees in all the professional colleges and made it economically beyond reach for the general members of the GAKUVED and other backward class to take admissions in professional colleges. Because the general members of the GAKUVED and OBC cannot think of the fees when they are half fed.

In another incident as CM, Mr. Parrikar has manipulated Population Survey of ST community getting drastically reduced figures of Gawadas, Kunbis & Velips as 12% of Goa's population. At the time of conducting population survey, GAKUVED members had objected for the way survey was conducted.”

They put together their strength to successfully political lobbying between Panjim and Delhi inspite of repeated attempts from brahmannical forces to derail their efforts.

Declaration of Gawdas, kunbis, and Velips in Goa as Scheduled tribes put up Brhamanical forces in Goa on high alert. They organised conference in kala academy displacing the word ‘adivasis’  meaning first settlers and introducing the word ‘vanvasi’ meaning forest settlers for tribes.

After that they tried with some success to split tribal organization into number of splinter groups. After that Brahmanical forces tried to brahmanize tribal people. However all this though was moderately successful still was not enough to contain the seeds of dissent amongst tribal people in Goa.

Then another very clever ploy was deployed to bring agitating tribal people into the net of brahmanical forces. Brahmanical forces through their tribal agents took over the leadership of United Tribal Alliance Association (UTAA). UTAA placed 12 demands before the State and started the agitations. Most interesting of these 12 demands was that it excluded implementation of 5 Schedule of the Indian Constitution under Article 244(1) that deals with Administration of Scheduled Areas and Tribal Areas.
Adivasis or tribal people of Goa are mulnivasis by their DNA. Brahmins are foreigner by DNA. Tribal people whole heartedly supported UTTA with a typical tribal innocence. UTAA aligned itself with BJP. BJP works under the control of Brahmins. With this logic tribal people found themselves agitating under the direction of Brahmins. Tribal people failed to identify their enemy and got trapped, deadly trap. On May 25, 2011 this agitation was given violent twist and two finest young men Dilip Katu Velip and Manguesh Gaonkar was burnt to death in Balli.  Dilip’s father Bamtu Velip could not bear the shock of death of his young son and he died on 22nd May 2012 in his village of Morpirla.

Justice Shah was appointed to carry on the investigations on Balli killings after perusing through available evidence. Justice Shah Committee report confirmed that the two young men were burnt to death but could not identify the killers. Those arrested on the charge of killings were set free. No justice was done.

This agitation was a means by which BJP consolidated its vote bank amongst tribal people and ultimately won the 2012 elections. Then Congress government formed committee to solve the demands of UTAA and declared it in state gazette notification.  No follow up was ever made on the progress of this committee as very soon the brahmanical Congress government was voted out and Brahmanical BJP government was voted to power.

The million dollar question is that why did UTTA left the question of implementation of 5th Schedule of the Indian Constitution?
5th Schedule of the Constituion provides the following:
(a)    Prohibit or restrict the transfer of land by or amongst members of the Scheduled Tribes in such areas;
(b)   Regulate the allotment of land to members of the Scheduled Tribes in such area;
(c)    Regulate the carrying on of business as money-lender by persons who lend money to members of the Scheduled Tribes in such areas.
Where ever there are Scheduled Tribes Scheduled Areas are to be identified. Governance is in the form of tribal autonomy. Formation of Tribal Advisory Council of not more than 20 members is a mandatory.

This means that in Goa if Scheduled Areas are declared then immediate ban come on all the open cast iron, manganese and bauxite mines as there is restriction on land use in Scheduled Areas. Mining industry is in hands of Sarawats and bamons. If mining industry has to survive then it is important that tribal people and their leadership had to be in the hands of Bamons. UTAA is one such organization that Bamons has captured. Their leadership is working under the brahmanical tutelage of BJP. In the bargain they have sold their community to the wolves for a position of a ministry of Tribal affairs and Sports Affairs – Ramesh Tawadkar.

Balli agitation and the death of two young men have pushed Goa’s tribal community into the state of confusion, demoralization and a sense of being used. And truly tribal community of Goa has been repeatedly used and abused for the brahmanical agenda.

Brahmanical forces of course are laughing their way to the glory for Goa’s tribal community has pushed into abyss. Those who pushed them into this sitation are also the same ones who have been using and discarding catholics and rest of bhahujan Samaj. They do this in order to continue their rule over mulnivasis.

It is important that all the victims of the brahmanical system must come together under the banner of Bharat Mukti Morcha and join nation side agitation for liberation.  In unity is our strength. That’s why Bamons work overtime to keep us divided. After dark tunnel there is a hope, there is light. Bamons cannot rule over us forever.  We can make a difference, we can light a torch of freedom, and for the sake of freedom from this Brahmanical tyranny let us light mid-night oil. Hard work of today will make our tomorrow brighter of mulnivasis. Lethargy of today will keep us forever in brahmanical bondage. Our wish to freedom sends across sparks in our hearts, no power on will succeed to subdue our collective might. Join Bharat Mukti Morcha in Goa. This is a message of Goa Liberation Day 2012.

How Bamons used and discarded catholics in Goa - Part 4

The question now arises as to when there are/were so many catholic MLAs in present and past Goa legislative Assemblies why none of them ever raised the question of proportionate representation to catholics on the lines of proportionate representation to SC and ST communities. It is natural to ask this question when you learn that some of the heavy weight politicians in Goa has been Catholics. What then on planet earth prevented them from raising the question of proportionate representation to the community from which they come from? What prevented catholic mulnivasi politicians, shudra politicians from raising the question of proportionate representation to catholic shudra community in Goa? Their silence on this matter led to the use and discard of Catholics by various governments in the past and BJP government currently in power is the latest instance of this. One can understand the studied silence on this matter by Catholic Bamon politicians for by birth they are not shudras and they are not expected to put their tongues to the job to further the advancement of shudras in Goa for bamons leave by using and discarding of Shudras. It does not matter whether they are Catholics or adhering to some other religion. Urge and cunningness to exploit and rule over shudras is their specialty.

Let’s re-focus on our question as to why Catholic Shudra politicians in Goa Assembly never demanded proportionate representation/reservation to Catholics in Goa. Surely if they are genuine representatives of the catholic community then they ought to raise this issue on priority basis. The fact is that no community in India has genuine representative as their MLA or MP and present set up of our democracy does not carry possibility either. That’s why people who get elected and go in the state assemblies and parliament does not raise the genuine concerns of their communities when they speak out.  That why India has 75% (83 crore people out of total 120 crore) of the population living under poverty line with daily income of less than Rs.20/-. They all vote in the elections and yet this state of affairs.

If one has to become MLA then one needs to win the favour of the political party – BJP or Congress: both the brahmanical parties in india. Only when one finds the favour of the parties then the person get a Party ticket to contest elections. After that person contests elections, goes and meets up people to ask for votes and then gets elected to the office of an MLA. However after the elections he does not raise the genuine issues of the community such as proportionate representation. This is because the person has to remain faithful to the party that has accorded him the party ticket in the beginning to contest elections. Community has not granted him the ticket to contest elections. Community gave him votes only after he got the party ticket. Party ticket takes precedence over community vote. Community votes are useless without party ticket.  So the MLA though going from the community becomes never representative of the community but representative of the Party that gave him the ticket. This is a system in place currently that thwarts the possibility of genuine community representative from getting elected.

M.K.Gandhi created this system by putting his life in risk with his 21 day fast at Yeroda jail in Pune to force great Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar into signing of Poona Pact on 24th September 1932. Community were disenfranchised and political parties were concentrated with power to give tickets. Political Parties are either overtly or covertly brahmincal in their orientation. Brahmanical orientation is always to use and discard mulnivasis. This is also the case of political parties in Goa – National parties and Regional parties alike. This Poona pact was applied to SC and ST community via article 330 and 332 of the Indian Constitution. OBC got this system dumped on them through Panchayati Raj Act that makes provision of reservation for OBC. Without discussions this Poona Pact is also applied to minorities such as Christians, Muslims, Sikh and remaining others. Dr. Ambedkar termed the people getting elected through this system as stooges, agents, dalals and bhadwas.

This is the reason why catholic MLA in Goa never raises the issue of their community; forget about resigning as a minister in community interest. Current 40 members Goa Legislative Assembly has 14 Catholic MLAs spread in various political parties and independents.  Few of them catholic bamons.

Catholic community and Bhahujan samaj are both exploited and ruled over by bamons. What options for their community betterment remained in their hands? Community leadership that is compromising must be kicked out and new non-compromising leadership that is well versed with caste undercurrents must take over and join nationwide agitation under the banner of Bharat Mukti Morcha. This will flush out all the available junk.

How Bamons used and discarded catholics in Goa - Part 3

What does it mean not be treated as toilet paper for Christians and for Bhajun Samaj? It means to get counted by the state. State counting through caste-based census on the same lines that are carried for for SC and ST in India. Caste based counting was carried on during British times. The number number of brahmins counted during 1931 census was 45 lakhs. This practice of caste based census was discontinued in India ever since brahmins took control of power in 1947. Due to the toiling efforts of Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar caste based enumerations are carried on by the State only of SC and ST people. Because they are counted the are authorized to enjoy reservations in State educational institutions as well as government jobs according to the proportion of their population. This means only two communities in India has share in Power based on the proportion of their population. The rest do not as rest are not even counted. Mulnivasi Catholics in Goa are no different in this aspect.

India's brahmanical state has betrayed and Cheated catholics like it has cheated Muslims and Sikhs, and Bhahujan samaj. In that sense there is nothing new about the catholic mulnivasi being cheated en mass. What is new however is that Catholic leadership has done nothing to change this situation. As a consequences mulnivasi catholics in Goa are victims of brahmanical exploitation who enjoy uncontrolled absolute power in their hands thereby corrupting them absolutely. After all absolute power corrupts absolutely.

This has created a situation of avoidable hardship and toil amongst mulnivasi Catholics just like in case of muslims and bhahujan samaj. The cause for hardship is common. All of us are the victims of the same brahmanical system that has ensured that all of us not even worthy of caste based census. But why do brahmins deny us caste based census? because if we are counted then they will get a right to stake claim for proportionate representation. If proportionate representation is granted then it be exposed that Eurasian brahmins besides being foreigners - who cannot legally and ethically rule us - are also micro minority and has power over state apparatus specially in Judiciary, Administration, Executive and media far more disproportionate to their population.

If we mulnivasis get counted then we will get proportionate representation. If we get proportionate representation then Brahmins will have to give way to mulnivasi in for share in power. Brahmins are not ready to give way for mulnivasis Catholics, Bhahujan Samaj, Muslims to take over power in India. They devise different ways to keep mulnivasis divided and engaged in internal strife.

Bamon Manohar Parrikar prior to last assembly elections in Goa campaigned against English as medium of instruction. On the other side also fielded Catholics as candidates for elections either as BJP party candidates or as Independents. They won. BJP came to power. Because of the dependent on catholic MLA support in Government formation of Parrikar he played a trick with Catholics. he supported English and then said for government jobs certificate in Marathi and Konkni will be mandatory. There will be exam in marathi and konkni. Konkni of course mean konkni in devnagri script. Roman script konkni is reduced to non-entity along with those who speak it. Why Goa Gazetteer is published in English funded by Goa government? Why Sanskrit Open University is being started in India when no one speaks that language?

It is easy to get into deception and regard the issue of medium of instruction as an issue of class of languages. In fact this is a deception in which those defending English has got themselves into. It is important to come clear of this deception. Medium of instruction debate is not the clash of languages but it is clash of Eurasian brahmins against Shudras specially mulnivasi Catholics. It is not the clash between English on one side and Konkni and Marathi on the other side. In fact it must be noted that Eurassian brahmins have already finished the task of destroying Marathi educational primary schools across the state of Goa. If Bhasha Suraksha Manch is genuinely in love with Indian language then why doesnt even speak a word on it? This is because no interest of any language whether Indian or otherwise is at the heart of BBSM. There are some people belonging to Bhajan samaj who are also advocating the cause of brahmins. They are the products of Poona Pact where in Mulnivasi intellectuals consider themselves to be Brahmins. They are the victims of this peculiar diseases called 'Alienation of elites'.

Only interest dearest to their heart is how to protect and promote interest of Eurasian Brahmins who rule India with the aid of varied types of deceptions founded on languages and religion. However they cannot deceived all the people all the time. Winds of change has charged up the air, Eurasian Brahmin minority rule over mulnivasi majority will find its way into the gutter as that's where their rightfully belongs. Bharat Mukti Morcha will supervise this flow. It very important for Shudra mulnivasi Catholics in Goa realize this and take up their rightful place in this great nation wide  Liberation struggle for freedom.

How Bamons used and discarded catholics in Goa - Part 2

After bamons got their language - devnagri konkni - declared as an official language of Goa the leadership of Bhahujan samaj as well as Catholics was carefully managed to see that the fresh protests does not erupt in favour of Marathi and Raman Konkani. Bhahujan leadership was co-opted and according to Ramnath G. Naik, Ravi Naik was covertly supported by Brahmins as the Chief Minister of Goa in the decade of 1990s mainly to weaken the movement in favour of Marathi. Similarly in the decade of 2000s Churchill Alemao was made the PWD minister in the Bamon Digambar Kamat government to end political articulation in support of Roman Script Konkani. After effective political fixations both the groups did not articulate themselves in a manner that was benefiting to this Brahmani conspiracy. None from either camp linked language disputes in Goa to the burning desire of Saraswats towards domination.

Mediums of instruction dispute first came to the surface in early 1990s. Group of people argued publicly in favour of English as the medium of instruction. They were strongly challenged and put down by the lobby arguing for konkni language mainly claiming to be mother tongue. It was well known that shudra catholics used roman script konkani language as their mother tongue. When devnagri language was pushed down the throat as medium of instruction for school education the discussion then found a slow end.

No one however challenged devnagri konkni as the language of the Bamons till very recently when Fr. Pratap Naik S.J. did that. The voice of protest against if had to be effective had to be against brahminical conspiracy. This voice in public policy and public protests was missing and still missing. The route that protest against devnagri konkni took was that the schools that were getting grants for Konkni particulary those manages by Diocesan Education Society instead of devnagri konkni as medium of instruction shifted to English. That means instead of direct, bold and intellectually sound challenge to devnagri konkni itself it chose to catch the bull by his tail. For many academic years number of diocesan schools carried on this practice. This came as a direct challenge to the devnagri konkni. If the official languages of Goa were Raman konkni and marathi then this shifting would have not been warranted as there would have been logical choice for the medium of instruction between marathi and roman konkani particularly because both the parties are shudras with clear and strong leadership that understands caste undercurrents in crystal clear manner. But this was not to be.

Sadly this was missing in both the cases. The protests had to be as backdoor as mainly due to the weak leadership of Roman konkni movement. The leadership either did not understood the caste under-currents or they compromised with the Brahmanism interests. The first the lack of caste consciousness and depth in understanding of functioning of caste system as well as second position of compromise and co-option of Roman konkani leadership are both appropriate. Roman konkni leadership has remained satisfied with the carrots offered to them by the state as posts of Cabinet Ministers or as funding for Dalgado Academy and Tiatr Academy of late. This is a third hurdle in the process that cropped up: the weak and compromising leadership. There is a need to investigate as to why this situation came about and ways to rapidly amend this situation.

Nevertheless this backdoor entry to English was interpreted as an assault on Brahmanism identity in Goa there by guaranteeing major casualties for its survival due to institutional support to the revolt. brahminical interests found it intolerable that such a large scale organised revolt is taking place across the state of Goa: Schools are taking funding for devnagri konkni and in practice it was all English medium. Brahmins already have their stronghold in politics as well as judiciary. State government was called upon to act just the same way as in Ramayana  Ram is called upon to act to stop learning by Shudra named Swayambu. Ram then kills Swayambu via treachery and gives new lease of life to Brahmanism. It was not easy for the chief minister Digambar Kamat to take the avatar of Rama to do the murderous act as in Ramayana but process of treachery is on.

Brahmins promoted setting up of the organization by the name of Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksh Manch. Brahmins, by the way are Non-Resident Eurasians by their DNA as per front page story of Times of India of 21st May 2001 coupled with research finding of Jay Dixit. What do they got to do with the Indian languages it is a matter of guesswork. Brahmins experienced acute sense of insecurity. Which is the insecurity? Suppose due to the action of all these shudras converted to Catholicism abandon Devanagari konkni and take to English? They will progress as they will as their education will be in English medium. More importantly these Shudras will break the net of devnagri konkni and the net of Bamons that has already destroyed Shudra mulnivasis two generations and Bamon Uday Bhembre cares a dam about it. If these shudras break free and unite with global language of English then they will soon take over and become rulers of their land. brahmins will become outdated. The insecurity is not for the language but it is for Brahmins. Language is only the cover up.That's why the word 'Suraksha'. It is common practice amongst brahmins in India to shout on the top of their voice that either 'dharma' is insure or 'bhasha' is insecure. They do this whenever brahmins feels insecure. Why don't they shout then that brahmins are insecure?  Because if they do then bhahujan samaj will not support them. To get the support of the majority of Bhahujan samaj they have to indulge in this dangerous game. They are after all 3.5% of India's population ruling over everyone else exactly by this means. Not sure if Tomazinho Cardozo, Rose Ferns, Prince Jacob, Young Chicko, Anthony Veronica and the tiatrists are aware of it. They surely are yet to be awakened otherwise they would have not allowed catholic community to be reduced to tissue paper of the Bamons.

Why did the word 'Bharatiya' was used? This word was used to mobilize Bhahujan samaj against mulnivasi catholics. It was engineered on the similar lines when Catholics were supported by Brahmins to defeat bhahujan Samaj in 1967 opinion poll and 1986 language agitation. Now brahmin planning has witnessed role reversals: Bhahujan samaj is sought to be mobilized against mulnivasi Catholics. So here we come to the threshold of our history where in both the groups are used against each other. This has taken place mainly because the leadership of bhahujan Samaj as well the leadership of mulnivasi catholic have allowed their respective communities to be used for the benefit of Brahmins. Any group that allows to be used never progresses. What progress do toilet paper make? Bhahujan Samaj as well as Catholics in Goa are used as tissue paper by Bamons. Both have to unite and overthrow the Bamon Raj. It is just not enough to trumpet 'illegal'. 'Illegal' according to whose laws? Which caste made the laws? Which caste rules this country? Which caste rules Goa? Who are allowing themselves to be fodder for their rules? Food for deep thought and nourishment for bold action.
