Death of Fear puts Ozone Corporate in Soup

Death of Fear proclaimed on 7^th August 2013 by Maggie Silveira, the President of Bharat Mukti Morcha, Goa Unit has put Ozone corporate and Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar in disarray with regard to its ambitions of evil. In an interview given to the Times of India Correspondent Joaquim Fernandes which is available on this blog here Maggie Silveira addressed the question “How do villagers fear will the project affect them?” She declared that “Fear does not  arise as the proposal has not come to the Panchayat.” This declaration not only sounded the death knell to fear but also to the ambitions of Ozone group that were aroused after disgusting sale of Vanxim by Goa Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao to another Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar with an exchange of black money that probably found its way into Swiss bank accounts of the Goa Archbishop.

Systematic co-option of number of people in Vanxim continued thereafter and those who refused to get co-opted or purchased they were persecuted and persecution continues. In November 2011 police cases were filed against four Vanxim women and were arrested without arrest warrant and even call letter inviting to police station by the then PI Francis Corte who was later suspended on account of distribution cash during the last Assembly elections in Vasco.

Vanxim agitation sparked off in August 2010. Corporate has not been able to install single stone for getting their evil ambitions to materialise till date. This has been the intensity of this agitation.

Times of India correspondent interview is a great set back to those in the camps of Ozone corporate including Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar and Goa Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao. It is a setback precisely because of death of fear. Fear was a guiding star of these Bamons and their allies causing great annoyance to Vanxim People. Now on 7^th August 2013 on the day of third anniversary of the agitation by Ilha de Vanxim Association fear was proclaimed dead and fitting burial was afforded to it.

Fear was a life blood of this corporate-bamon combine devilish enterprise in Vanxim that sought to be pushed down the throats of the people. Three mega meetings were held to protest the project and number of NGOs from different parts of Goa supported the same.

Now there are desperate attempts from the corporate Ozone, Bamon Gaunekar and the Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao to resurrect the fear from its grave.

The attempt to get fear back to life was made on 13^th August 2013 when one Priscilla Chawla from Delhi guided the man on the steering of the car bearing the number  GA07 F 1260 to dash against Amrut Volvoikar, Vice-President, Bharat Mukti Morcha, Vanxim unit standing at the side on the Ferry ramp in Vanxim. The man on the steering obliged and dashed the car against Amrut Volvoikar who was on his bike with a luggage.  In that Amrut’s leg was injured and swollen.  Amrut’s wife Swati Volvoikar protested against the Chawla’s behaviour and also against the behavior of the man on the steering of the said car. Chawla started coming closer and closer towards Amrut. Amrut told her not to come closer to him. She ignored Amrut’s warnings and she continued to walk even more closely. So Amrut just sat down on the ramp to avoid any further complications.

This was the time Chawla phoned the cops and within 20 minutes five cops came in a vehicle straight to the illegal house of Mahendra Gaunekar. They did not come to Amrut’s house but straight to illegal house where permission was given to conduct embroidery classes by the highly manipulative then deputy Sarpanch Tulsidas Kundoikar then. 

Only on 17^th August 2013 five cops came with a vehicle to Amrut’s house in Vanxim that too without call letter and started saying “I can arrest you’ll right now, but because of your wife you’ll come tomorrow morning as she will have to stay at night being a female.” This Chawla has got her sister a Journalist and her husband working with Chief Minister Bamon Manohar Parrikar. Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar and Ozone corporate are only trying their level best to create fright in our supporters. On November 12, 2011 this very lady Swati Volvoikar stood as a support when Mahendra Gaunekar was carrying out illegal survey on our land where all our people stay and at that time four ladies were arrested and one of them was Swati. She has stood by us for the right hood. Without call letter four ladies were arrested.

Swati’s son has achieved remarkable success at school. One son passed with distinction for SSC and  other as a best boy of the year award at Our lady of Divar High School, both in 2013. It is said and believed that children imitate parents. So how these two sons of theirs are climbing the ladder of success? If parents according to Chawla are giving bad words (this has to be noted) how their children achieved success?

Oh dear people of Goa let us come out in big numbers in support of Amrut and Swati. On the 13^th day of August 2013 at 10.45 am Ferry. Location: Vanxim Ferry point (on the ramp) Bamon Bruno Ferrao’s car bearing number GA 07 C 7818 was in our Ferry and Chawla’s car on the steep of our Vanxim Ferry ramp.  As the driver was coming out of Ferry he came and banged against Amrut’s bike thereby injuring his leg. He was miraculously saved by the very cross in the river constructed by our ancestors. He along with his bike would have been right down in Mandovi River. Thanks are to God for such a miracle.

Our Goa police never reaches on time for any case of accident, murder, robbery etc yet in just 20 minutes five cops came in a vehicle to attend on such a case that too only when Chawla phoned. Earlier some days ago houses in Divar and Malar were robbed end number of times. Some people gathered together at Malar and caught the robber and informed the Old Goa Police Station saying that we have caught the robber and tied him up. In spite of the information that too at night no cops turned up. Situation was getting out of control. The people gathered there wanted to stone the robber to death as no cops were coming. One person from the group phoned Old Goa police station saying we are all going to stone the robber to death and make the Old Goa Police station responsible for the same as for nearly two and half hours we are awaiting. Immediately, two cops came only after this call was made. So this is how Goa police is functioning to take care of our Goa.

Why this discrimination in police responses? Amrut Volvoikar is banged against by car, injured and police are coming and instilling fear in him, the fear of arrest. Ozone corporate and Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar are hoping against hope that fear may rise up again and police are put on this duty. And it is not difficult to detect the reasons for police behavior in this manner. The days of Bamon raj are numbered, like the fear it will soon go into the coffin forever. No policeman will be able to resurrect it.
