It has come to light that one of the teaching faculty at Goa College of Arts Loretti Pinto has been served with threat via anonymous letter by post today 30 July 2026 at 3.12 pm.
The letter that serves as the warning to Loretti however is without any signature and name but mentioned that is from "one of your well wishers".
These kinds of threats cannot be tolerated and must be dealt with sternly as direct threat to law and order involving safety of one of Goa's finest of daughters. The matter of threats is linked to the conduct of non-teaching staff at Goa College of Arts in Panjim.
It looks like that some elements have taken Goa College of Arts in Panjim hostage in its functioning and consistent legitimacy to their authority has threatened the stranglehold. It has come to be known that Loretti Pinto who is also amongst top artists of Goa has been raising her voice against non- co-operative office staff of the college over the past few years.
There is need for CBI investigations on this matter as it is suspected that office staff are politically connected.
