On how Church in Goa is ruled by Bamani agenda

In the country of blind one eyed man is the King.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau, The Confessions, 1765

February 11, 2006 is a day to be remembered for the posterity in the history of Goa. On this day Bamani agenda was pushed aggressively ahead and sold 4,85,275 square meters of Vanxim land to Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar. This land that belonged to Santa Monica convent was sold on behalf of Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao by then procurator Fr. Arlino De Mello for rate that does not exceed Rs.20/- per square meter. The total amount received by the church officially is just Rs. 55,04,150/- .

Church in Goa has claimed for last one year that Vanxim was sold legally. It claimed so even when no one had ever accused it of illegal sale. The accusation has been that Vanxim has been sold without consulting people of Vanxim at all.  Bamani machinery was at work in this transaction right from the beginning of this conspiracy. Next three years every precaution was taken to make sure that no one in Vanxim will be made aware of the sale so that sale deed does not get challenged in the court of law so that the future legal challenges in court of law are time barred and invalid after 3 years. They are invalid in civil courts. This is a case of criminal application of mind against mulnivasis.

The simple question is as to why Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao did not feel it is necessary to consult Vanxim villagers before the sale deed was affected on February 11, 2006? Why did he not take any proactive steps to inform Vanxim villagers that he has sold Vanxim to another Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar? Why did he sold Vanxim so cheaply at he rate of Rs 6/- to Rs 20/- per square meter?

Public has been told through late clarifications in 2011 through Fr.Francisco Caldeira that Vanxim was sold to contribute towards the maintainance of Santa Monica convent. If Santa Monica Convent was in need of monetary assistance then why members of public were not informed and donations sort? What was such a great emergency for Santa Monica convent that such a huge land in Vanxim had to be sold? If Archbishop believes in fund raising through selling of church immovable property then why Bishop’s palace in Panjim is not sold to raise funds for Oratarian constructions project in Old Goa? Why crore of rupees are raised there through public fund raising? All these questions have to be address by Archbishop and answered honestly, even though it is going to be tough. If he does not answer then he is a leading entire Church institution in Goa towards only Bamani agenda without any other consideration of mulnivasi Christians adhering to Roman Catholic Church.

According to Canon Law that governs the Church functioning world wide Christians are placed on obligation to promote social justice. This directive flows from Canon 222 (2) “Christians are also obliged to promote social justice, and mindful of the Lord, to assist the poor from their own resources.” Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao has violated this Canon of the Church itself and is party to the promotion of grave injustice not only to the people of Vanxim but to entire population of Goa specially those adhering to the Roman catholic Church. The scandalous sale of Vanxim does inflict terrible blow to Canon 222 (2) and it becomes more then ample clear that Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao has been working to promote social injustice. Just because people are God fearing they have been taken for a jolly good ride not for interest of the church but for the interest of the Eurassian bamons that have infiltrated top decision making bodies of the Church in Goa to the detriment of mulnivasi people of Goa specially the Christians.  No wonder Church in Goa never shares and teaches Cannon law to the faithful and kept it as top secret so that Bamons can have their say as well as sway; for them ignorance of mulnivasis is a bliss.

Canon 287 (1) states “most especially, clerics are always to foster the peace and harmony based on justice which are to be observed amongst people.” Goa’s chief cleric bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao has abandoned foundation of justice with the Vanxim sale and rendered him incompetent to promote genuine peace and harmony. He can only pretend as his action of selling Vanxim only exhibits his bamani fangs against mulnivasis. The other clerics in Goa either collaborate with him or those who disagree are living in fear of Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao. When pastors are living in such a grave bamani fear they are living the life of captivity and are in need of liberation themselves. This country does not belong to bamons. This is our country - the country of mulnivasis, and Bamons are invaders. There is no reason to fear Eurasians including the Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao. Fearless life is better than fearful life. We are not to have any fear of any human beings specially the Bamons.
Canon 528 (1) urges pastors to preach ‘even to what pertains to social justice’. Goa Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao has lost moral ground to preach on justice. In 2011 preaching at all the Novenas of St.Francis Xavier feast in Old Goa were on the theme of environment, yet the Archbishop himself has set the example of selling Vanxim for the purpose of golf courses, luxury tourism, gambling, spa and exerting tremendous pressure on mulnivasi people to abandon their dwelling habitats. The preaching during novenas last year has been the mockery of his own very self that is leading the Church in the direction opposite to justice. He is leading the church towards setting up of Bamon Raj. Themes selected for 2012 St. Francis Xavier’s novenas is an indicator of this trend. These themes does not seem to promote social justice as per canon law 528 (1).

Lets examine these themes (1) Life in faith is full of love. The deed of Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao in selling Vanxim does not exhibit any kind of faith based love.  His faith and love reserved for Bamons is visible in undisputed, undiluted form. This theme promotes social injustice.

(2) Life in Faith is wealth in poverty. With the sale of Vanxim to Bamon Gaunekar in unethical manner his glorious Bamani agenda dimension is very clear. Bamons are being made wealthy and mulnivasis are being made poor. This theme promotes social injustice.

(3) Life in faith is success in narrow entrance. Surely Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao has made entrance to success truly narrow. Vanxim people are driven to the brink of displacement. Corporate Ozone group has even printed booklet modeling and refashioning Vanxim. This was possible to them only because of irresponsible, arrogant and disgusting act of Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao in selling Vanxim.

(4) Life in faith is a weapon of Justice and Peace. It must be observed that this Archbishop has been practicing bamanism from the core of his heart. Why no Bamon priests are transferred to Pernem and Canacona talukas? Why Bamon priests are given undue preferences to be Parish Priests in wealthy Parishes? This discrimination must stop or it will only cut Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao like a sword.

(5) Life in faith is honesty in corrupt society. Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao is sitting with unaccounted money received from Vanxim Sale in absolutely corrupt manner even violating canon law. It is for the Archbishop to stop being corrupt by cancelling the Vanxim sale deed. Religion is used only to cover up and make people docile and submissive to the corrupt practices inculcated and even implemented inside the church due to highly manipulative Bamani infiltration. Corruption in India is a by-product of bamanism in India. Corruption will end only when bamanism ends. Corruption is a life and blood of Bamanism.

(6) Life in faith is merciful towards cruel. Archbishop bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao with all his deeds in Vanxim sale proved beyond doubt that he is honest only to Bamon Gaunekar and his cruelty is exhibited through his highhandedness and cheating through Vanxim Sale. And what is most interesting is that he is not willing to revoke the sale deed even though it is in his powers to do so. Truly this is not the sign of humane and balanced mind. It is mind full of cruelty, a hallmark of origin of Bamanism.  Act of selling Vanxim by Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao speaks volumes on his cruel, sharp mind. If this mind is allowed to take ahead the church leadership in Goa then future is not difficult to predict: Bamon Raj. We mulnivasis cannot take what he does lying down. What Archbishop is doing is correct for Bamons and wrong for mulnivasis. Priests in parishes are trembling in fear of this Archbishop. Person with fear has not capacity to lead fearlessly.

(7) Life in faith is a clean conscious in pretentious society. One look at the deed of Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao makes is abundantly clear that he is not only pretentious but also without conscience – clean or dirty or totally ugly. He is following bamani doctrine of manusmriti that justify cheating for the purpose of promoting Bamani interest.

(8) Life in faith is solution to divided creation. What solution Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao is speaking when he himself is actively promoting Bamonshahi? One bamon selling Vanxim to another bamon is very clear signal that Goa’s Archbishop is an active party in Bamon conspiracy against Mulnivasis in Goa. No priest is able to speak against him openly because he has kept them not only in fear but also divided. Division in Indian society begins from Bamons and in Goa it is no different.

(9) Life in faith is support to those in struggle.  Currently struggle of Archbishop is as to how to strengthen hold of bamanism over the church and society in Goa. Nothing else matters to him. We mulnivasis can see through the gimmicks much more clearly today than yesterday.

For us mulnivasis all the above themes are sterile. For us life in faith is full-blooded rebellion against bamanism. And we live our life to the fullest. And this is a theme of fundamental justice in India.

Vita consecrata 82 urges members of institutes of consecrated life “to denounce the injustices committed against so many sons and daughters of God and commit themselves to the promotion of justice.” Who will denounce Archbishop bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao when he himself is involved such as massive scandal of Vanxim sale?   Today’s whisper will grow into roar of tomorrow. It is just a matter of time that Bamon raj is torn asunder and mulnivasis attain their liberation from bamon tyranny. Now is the time for mulnivasi priests to rise up against all the Bamani evils taking place all over Goa.

Now lets put Vanxim sale to the test of provisions of Canon Law that governs the affairs of the Church.  According to Canon law 1291 “the permission of the authority competent according to the norm of law is required for the valid alienation of goods which constitute by legitimate designation the stable patrimony of a public juridic person and whose value exceeds the sum defined by law.”

Alienation means transfer of ownership through any of the three means sale, gift, or exchange. In case of Vanxim sale as a method that is used to transfer ownership to Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar by Archbishop Bamon Felipe Felipe Neri Ferrao. He has not declared in public as to whose permission has he taken before effecting sale deed in February 2006 neither has he disclosed the value of the sold land in Vanxim. Was it 20 rupees or 6 rupees per square meter?

Next canon 1292 dealing with alienation has four parts: “(1) Without prejudice to the prescript of can. 638 (3), when the value of the goods whose alienation is proposed falls within the minimum and maximum amounts to be defined by the conference of bishops for its own region, the competent authority is determined by the statutes of juridic persons if they are not subject to the diocesan bishop; otherwise, the competent authority is the diocesan bishop with the consent of the financial council, the college of consultors, and those concerned. The diocesan bishop himself also needs their consent to alienate the goods of the diocese.

(2) The permission of the Holy See is also required for the valid alienation of goods whose value exceeds the maximum amount, goods given to the Church by vow, or goods precious for artistic or historical reasons.
(3) If the assets to be alienated is divisible, the parts already alienated must be mentioned when seeking permission for the alienation; otherwise the permission is invalid.
(4) Those who by advice or consent must take part in alienating goods are not to offer advice or consent unless they have first been thoroughly informed both of the economic state of the juridic person whose goods are proposed for alienation and of previous alienations.”

It is crystal clear from the Canon Law 1924 (4) that the prior advice, thorough information and consent of Vanxim people were necessary before affecting the sale deed of Vanxim land in February 2006. Archbishop is guilty of violating Canon law in this case.

Another fact comes to the fore that the crucial and most vital decision of minimum and maximum amount of land to be sold is taken by Catholic Bishop’s Conference of India (CBCI). What are the limits set? Who has this information? Why Archbishop has not made this information public?
Who are members of financial council and college of consultors that gave consent to Archbishop to sell  Vanxim land. Why as per Canon 1292 (1) Vanxim people were not consulted before the sale deed even though their rights are to be affected in the circumstances after this sale deed. This violation of Canon law points towards direct involvement of Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao in Bamani conspiracy against mulnivasis.

“Canon 1293 (1) The alienation of goods whose value exceeds the defined minimum amount also requires the following:
1.       A just cause, such as urgent necessity, evident advantage, piety, charity, or some other grave pastoral reason;
2.       A written appraisal by experts of the asset to be alienated.
(2) Other precautions prescribed by legitimate authority are also to be observed to avoid harm to the church.

Canon 1294 (1) An asset ordinarily must not be alienated for a price less than that indicated in the appraisal.
(2) The money received from the alienation is either to be invested carefully for the advantage of the Church or to be expended prudently according to the purposes of alienation.”

What was a just cause that warranted sale of Vanxim? What was the urgent necessity that led of sale of Vanxim? What was the evident advantage that prompted sale of Vanxim? What was the consideration of piety that led to selling of Vanxim? What was charity that prompted sale of Vanxim? What was the other grave pastoral reason that led to sale of Vanxim? The officially statement by Fr. Fransisco Caldeira reasons that the Vanxim was sold to provide for maintenance of Santa Monica convent does not fit the criteria of canon law 1293. It is not a just cause because sale of Vanxim caused injustice on people of Vanxim. There was no evident advantage, not even financial advantage when it was sold for Rs.6/- to Rs. 20/- per square meters when market rate at that was 1000 times more. So Vanxim was sold with evident disadvantage to the diocese.

Who were the experts of Bishop that gave written appraisal advocating sale of Vanxim? How many experts were appointed on this task? Why their reports are not made public? Why their names are not made public? Why Archbishop is operating in secrecy in Vanxim on violations of Canon law? Did these experts write a grossly underestimated report?

What was the amount arrived at in appraisal report of experts? When these written reports of experts are going to be made public?

As per canon 1294 (1) land cannot be ordinarily sold. It is the duty of the Church to make sure that it is not going to be used for unethical purposes such as golf tourism, casinos, sex tourism, etc. In Vanxim case entire process of sale itself is case of fraudulency in total violation of canon laws.

Vanxim sale of church land by Archbishop bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao to another Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar is completely unethical, marred with corruption and part of wider bamani conspiracy to make mulnivasi people of Goa captives of bamon raj. There is no ground left to be turned in which puss of corruption and Bamanism does not flow smoothly in the case of Vanxim sale. Considering Vanxim experience none of other projects undertaken by Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao cannot be ruled out for being done in the interest of Bamanism and against the interest of mulnivasis.

Now the question arises as to whether Pontiff is aware of Bamanism in Goa and India. It is not certain as to what information he has. But it is certain that Apostolic Nuncio to India, His Excellency, the most reverend Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio who visited Goa last year on 3rd December 2011 to celebrate feast mass in Old Goa, is very well aware of caste discriminations in India. He was present at the South Asian Symposium on Church’s Social Doctrine in Honour of Blessed Pope John Paul II organized jointly by FABC’ office of Human Development and CBCI’ Comission for Theology and Doctrine that took place at St. Pius College, Goregaon, Mumbai on 14 to 16 October 2011. At this symposium Research Scholar (Law) B.M.Leela Kumari from Aacharya Nagarjuna University made a written submission on caste discriminations in India titled ‘the question of Dalit women today and church’s response.’ The paper includes reference of bamani doctrine of manusmriti as well as to the speeches of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar. This is included in a published report of this symposium edited by Bishop Agnelo Gracias and Fr. Stephan Fernandes. It is for him (Apostolic Nuncio, His Excellency, the Most Reverend Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio) who was a main celebrant of both the morning prayers as well Holy Mass at Goregaon symposium to take the message of Bamanism practices by Goa Archbishop to the Pontiff for greater common good of mulnivasi Christians in India.

The let us deal with the issue of what is to be done with this Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao in Goa. The solution lies in 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 “In my last letter I instructed you not to associate with immoral people. I did not mean, of course, those who do not belong to the Church and who are immoral, greedy, embezzlers or worshippers of idols. Otherwise you would have to leave this world. What I really meant was to avoid and not to mingle with those who, calling themselves brothers, become immoral, greedy, or idolators, gossipers, drunkards, or embezzlers. In which case you should not even eat with them. It is no concern of mine to judge outsiders. But you, are you not to judge those who are inside? Let God judge those outside, but as for you, drive out the evil-doer from among you.”

Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao has not only violated Canon Law by selling Vanxim without giving thorough information prior to the sale deed, and seeking their advice and consent for sale but sold this island with underestimated written appraisals that he has kept secret till date. Vanxim island was sold for a song and there is not an iota of doubt in the air that Archbishop is involved in massive embezzlement and black money. Otherwise Vanxim sale at the rate of Rs.6/- to Rs.20/- is unexplainable. All these acts of Archbishop are evil acts and through his hard work he has qualified himself as evil-doer. Now it is for all the mulnivasi Christians in Goa to reward him as per 1 Corinthian 5:9-13 do not mingle with him, do not eat with him and drive him away.

This flows from the writings of St. Paul himself. It is therefore becomes duty of Christians to make sure that they do not mingle with Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao, Share any food at lunch, dinner and breakfast with him, and if he is around drive him away, for this is a well deserved reward that he has earned through sale of Vanxim in violation of Canon Law.

Bamons in India kept mulnviasi people from making Constitution of India accessible and understandable. Church in India kept Canon Law away from access and understanding. Both the instances point towards desire to promote strategic ignorance. Ignorance is of strategic importance to Eurasian Bamons in India. British Philosopher John Stuart Mill calls it ‘Contended ignorance’ that elites foster. Sociologist Wilred Parreto has analyzed and pointed out that with this type of scenario it become easy to circulate power amongst elites. Sometime Foxes capture power other times after foxes are discredited Lions take over power. Both are elites. In case of Goa once Bamons in Congress got discredited Bamons in BJP took over power. Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao only facilitated this process. All the time it is Bamons or their Chamchas in power. Culprit is M.K.Gandhi and his Poona Pact of 1932 that was forced on Dr.Ambedkar.

This stranglehold of Bamons has to be shattered and dismantled. Fearless speaking and attacking bamanism is very important because Bamons rule with deception and by creating fear. The masks have to be torn apart. The process has already began. Every time Bamons attack us hiding under any of the masks they will be responded with full-fledged retaliation. With Vanxim sale Bamons have got themselves trapped and only they are to be blamed for attacks on themselves, for they have asked for it by interfering and messing for the sake of Bamani interest in Vanxim against mulnivasis. It is truly disgusting and shameful that all this is done by Archbishop of Goa: he has become chief ring leader of bamanism in Goa with his hidden collaborators but with open and common intentions of Bamon Raj.

"You are a destroyer of Goa! You are a disgusting PI! Shame on you! You are useless PI!"

It was on 12 November last year 2011 that 4 ladies - Maggie Silveira, Swati Tari, Anuradha Volvoikar and Deepika Tari - protesting against the bamani aggression of Vanxim Island in Tiswadi were arrested and released past mid-night on the wee hours of 13th November 2011 after stiff combat between the police and the protestors. It was the bluntest attempt of police repression with clear cut agenda of ending the revolt against bamanism manifested through scandalous sale of Vanxim Island by the Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao, abusing his position as well as powers as the current Archbishop of Goa diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in India. The Vanxim island was sold to another Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar from Gaunem in Goa’s Ponda taluka in 2006. This disaster is one more pointer to what can unfold when Bamon take over leadership.

The gradual resistance from the islanders from 2010 onwards had pushed these bamons on defensive and attempted to use police repression to demoralize and criminalize the protests. The Vanxim island transaction between Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao, Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar and corporate Ozone group is suspected to run into crore of rupees in black money and deserves thorough investigation from competent investigation agency.

Then Police Inspector of Old Goa Police Station Francis Corte who hails from neighboring Divar Island was in full blown aggression to charge and arrest the women for the charges of robbery of the tripod two days prior when women confiscated tripod from the hefty Ozone men led by another Bamon Bruno Ferrao. However his aggression got punctured as just before getting into police van to Ribandar police station one of the protestors Maggie Silveira, who is the President of Ilha de Vanxim Association and also the chief of Bharat Mukti Morcha, Goa State, blasted PI Francis Corte in most unexpected and dramatic twist to this episode at Old Goa Police Station. Maggie shouted with full media presence at PI Francis Corte “You are useless PI! You are a destroyer of Goa! Shame on you! You are a disgusting PI” Surely, he was useless to the protest as his behavior and conduct in dishing out below the belt treatment to the protestors was unbecoming of police officer. He was completely bias and rumors were afloat that he has been paid in black heavily by local MLA Pandurang Madkaikar, Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar and Ozone group. The investigation on his conduct is highly desirable to go to the depth of the deplorable conduct of PI Francis Corte. In a nutshell this PI carried and implemented the instructions that came to him from his masters’ voice at the Bamon raj.

The 12 November 2011 being Saturday there every attempt was made by Bamons and Ozone group to make sure that the four women are confined to police custody for three days as the bail becomes difficult to procure on Saturdays. Yet none of these efforts were allowed to succeed and women were freed at 2.00 am on 13th November 2011 with loud cheers from all the people who had gathered hailing from different parts of Goa. Police action by then Bamon Digambar Kamat government failed to demoralize these protests. What is remarkable about these protests are that it is led by women who has demonstrated unexpected courage and guts even to the extent of confronting the Ozone group officials in Vanxim not just during the day time but even during the mid-night. Not just in Vanxim but out side Vanxim too. Hats off to these women!

The corporate Ozone as well as the bamons Mahendra Gaunekar, Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao calculated that formal pressure from the police and goons is not yielding them the desired results. They then launched number of diplomatic salvos. During last Panchayat elections Bamon Gaunekar sponsored two candidates to contest for the Panchayat elections from Vanxim (Capao) six months ago. However their conspiracy was discovered and both the candidates were dished out crashing defeat.

Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao took another diplomatic initiative to promote Bamon agenda by transferring two mulnivasi priests Fr.Hermogeneous Fernandes to Siridao  and Fr. Pio Almeida to Arambol in past two successive years. These priests being mulnivasis were not able to digest Bamani agenda sort to be implemented in Vanxim. The new parish priest Fr. Bismarck Monteiro  is following the Bamani agenda coming from the man who has been the party to the Vanxim sale transaction from one Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao via then procurator in 2006 Bamon Fr. Arlino de Mello to another Bamon Mahendra Gaunekar. What is the bamani agenda that is followed? Church compound wall must not be used for conducting any meetings to oppose the project. The important picture gets clearly visible here: because Bamons have hijacked Roman Catholic leadership in Goa; the entire church is gradually getting into the role of oppressor. The liberation theology that the Bamon Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao used to vex eloquent couple of decades ago even when he was promoted as Auxiliary Bishop through the bamon lobby that made sure that mulnivasi priest Fr.Saturnino Dias does not take over the Church leadership in Goa as Archbishop, has made total U turn. Archbishop Felipe Neri’s Ferrao’s Liberation theology has been fed as fodder for Asses through the Vanxim sale. This is Bamanism!

Goa’s Bishops’ palace in Panjim has been converted into Peshwaee. Late Mathany Saldanha made public statement in Delhi that Goa’s Bishop’s house has turned into the den of business beurocrats. His death therefore was made to be projected as from perfectly natural cause. Peshwayee was reduced to ashes on New Year day of 1818, not less treatment is needed to end Peshwaee in Goa that is visible with exceedingly unlimited powers with Bamons in every institution of decision making and leadership that includes political parties, administration, and religious bodies. In this respect Goa is no different from rest of India. Bamons’ strangle hold continues unabated. Bharat Mukti Morcha is determined to crush it and end all the oppression and usher in Liberation.
Opposition in Vanxim has been successful not only to block the golf caddie tourism, casino gambling tourism, luxury sex and non-sex tourism projects in Vanxim - in spite of harassment through litigations -but the number of corporate PR projects like ground and garden too has been stalled. It looks like now through Fr. Bismark Monteiro hierarchical church is plunging itself to carry on the bamon agenda to start off what was stopped due to protests and in the process risking the entire church into descend to avant-garde of Bamanism. With Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao selling Vanxim legally yet unethically without consulting the people of Vanxim; every action implemented through local parish priest is a suspect that it is done to further the interest of Bamanism. And the interest of Bamanism is to keep mulnivasis subjugated for generations together.

With the defeat of two candidates of Bamon Gaunekar and victory of candidate opposed to the Gaunekar’s project the situation changed. People of Vanxim started making demands for the development the way they see it and not the way corporate Ozone,  Bamon Gaunekar, even Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao views its. Their view of development is investment in crores with kickbacks. Yes, the kickbacks. If not then, how does one explain that Vanxim land was sold to Bamon Gaunekar for Rs.6/- to Rs 20/- per square meter by Archbishop Bamon Felipe Neri Ferrao in total subversion of Canon law that governs affairs of the church in Goa? It is highly critical and immoral to sell land that is origin of mulnivasi people. It is so critical that if the sale deed is not invalidated immediately then twist of events to follow may carry the element of surprise.  Perhaps Vanxim is not the isolated case. More investigation needed in cases in various parts of Goa where church is involved in sale with well designed Bamani conspiracy.

It is learned that high level beurocrats and politicians of Goa government including Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar are trying their level best to convert more and more of Vanxim orchard and Khazan lands into settlement zone for which they will have to pay big price as villagers of Vanxim along with entire Goa is with specially the people of Salcete together with Bharat Mukti Morcha is observing their every moves minutely.

At the last Sao Mathias Gram Sabha 28 October 2012 Sarpanch Bhomkar was questioned on developments in Vanxim and he replied with shocking statement “Government has told me to keep pending all the developmental works in Vaxim for six months.” Now the government is of BJP. BJP like Congress is controlled by Bamons. Congress during its reign supported Gaunekar’s project in Vanxim in spite of Vanxim people opposing it. Now BJP during its reign is supporting this project in Vanxim. That means BJP too is carrying ahead the agenda of Bamons. Therefore it is proved that there is no differences between BJP and Congress, for both of them are Bamani outfits for the interest of the Bamons. This is Bamanism!

Why do Bamons always behave in this conspiratorial manner? They do so because they are not from this country. They are Eurasians, foreigners. Besides being Eurasians is also a tiny minority but yielding uncontrollable power in governance and religions. They all the time try and keep us the mulnivasis divided and subjugated. But now with Bharat Mukti Morcha on the horizon the days of Bamanism are numbered; for Bamani conspiracy in Vanxim operating through the State and the Church is laid thread bare open and nude for the world to see. We mulnivasis have been robbed of everything in our possession. We have nothing more to loose. Even our dignity has been robbed through Aadhaar Cards. We Mulnivasis have only one option left: to crush Bamon Raj in Goa and we are doing it every moment.

Brahmins thralldom over Sudras in India

Joteerao Phooley,

1st June 1873

Preface to Gulamgiri

“The day that reduces a man to slavery takes from him the half of his virtue.” -------- Homer.
“Our system of Government in India is not calculated to raise the character of those subject to it, nor is the present system of education one to do more than over-educate the few, leaving the mass of he people as ignorant as ever and still mere at the mercy of the few learned; in fact, it is an extension of the demoralizing Brahmin-ridden policy, which, perhaps, has more retarded the progress of civilization and improvement in India generally than anything else.” ----

Col. G. J. Haly --- On Fisheries in India.

“Many ages have elapsed since peculiar resources were afforded to the Brahmins; but the most considerate cosmopolite would hesitate to enroll them amongst the benefactors of the world. They boast of vast stores of ancient learning. They have amassed great riches, and been invested with unbounded power, but to what good end? They have cherished the most degrading superstations and practiced the most shameless impostures. They have arrogated to themselves the possession and enjoyment of the rarest gifts of fortune and perpetuated the most revolting system known as to the world. It is only from a diminution of their abused power that we can hope to accomplish the great work of national regeneration.”
Mead’s Sepoy Revolt

Recent researches have demonstrated beyond a shadow of doubt that the Brahmans were not the aborigines of India. At some remote period of antiquity, probably more than 3000 years ago, the Aryan progenitors of the present Brahmin Race descended upon the plains of Hindoostan from the regions lying beyond Indus, the Hidoo Koosh, and other adjoining tracts. According to Dr. Prichard, the Ethnologist, they were an off-shoot of the Great Indo-European race, from whom the Persians, Medes, and other Iranian nations in Asia and the Principal nations in Europe like-wise are descended. The affinity existing between the Zend, the Persian and the  Sanskrit languages, as also between all the European languages, unmistakably points to a common source or origin. It appears also more probable that the original cradle of this race being arid, sandy and mountainous region, and one ill calculated to afford them the sustenance which their growing wants required, they branched off into colonies, East and West. The extreme fertility of the soil in India, its rich productions, the proverbial wealth of its people, and the other innumerable gifts which this favored land enjoys, and which have more recently tempted the cupidity of the Western nations, no doubt, attracted the Aryans, who came to India, not as simple emigrants with peaceful intentions of colonization, but as conquerors. They appear to have been a race imbued with very high notions of self, extremely cunning, arrogant and bigoted as Arya, bhudev etc., with which they designated themselves, confirmed us in our opinion of their primitive time, with, perhaps, little change for the better. The aborigines whom the Aryans subjugated or displaced, appear to have been a hardy and brave people from the determined front which they offered to these interlopers. Such opportunity terms, as Sudra ‘insignificant’, Mahari, ‘the grate foe’, Atanjya, Chandal etc. with which they designated them, undoubtedly show that originally they offered greatest resistance in their country, and hence the great aversion and hatred in which they are held. From many customs[1] traditionally handed down to us, as well as from the mythological legends contained in the sacred books of the Brahmins, it is evident that there had been a hard struggle for ascendancy between the two races. The wars of Devas and Daitya or the Rakshasas, about which so many fictions are found scattered over the sacred books of the Brahmins, have certainly a reference to this primeval struggle. The original inhabitants in whom these earthborn Gods, the Brahmins, fought, were not inappropriately turned termed Rakshas that is the protectors of the land. The incredible and foolish legends regarding their forms and shape are. No doubt mere chimeras, the fact being that these people were of superior stature and hardy make. Under such leaders as Brahma, Parshuram and others, the Brahmins waged very protected wars against the original inhabitants. They eventually succeeded in establishing their supremacy and subjugating the aborigines to their entire control. Accounts of these conquests, enveloped with mass of incredible fiction, are found in the books of Brahmins. In some instances they were compelled to emigrate, and in others wholesale extermination was resorted to. The cruelties which the European settlers practiced on the American Indians on their first settlement in the New World, had certainly their parallel in India on the Advent of the Aryans and their subjugation of the aborigines. The cruelties and inhuman atrocities which Parshuram committed on the Kshetrias, the people of this land, if we are to believe even one tenth of what the legends say regarding him, surpass our belief and show that he was more a fiend than a God. Perhaps in the whole range of history it is scarcely possible to meet with such another character as that of Parshuram, so selfish, infamous, cruel and inhuman. The deeds of Nero, Alaric of Machiavelli sink into insignificance before the ferocity of Parshuram. The myriads of men and defenseless  children whom he butchered, simply with a view to establishment of his coreligionists on a secure and permanent basis in this land, is a fact for which generations ought to execrate his name, rather than defy it.

This, in short is the history of Brahmins domination in India. They origianally settled on the banks of the Ganges whence they gradually spread over the whole of India. In order, however to keep a better hold people they devised that weird system of mythology, the ordination of caste, and the code of cruel and inhuman laws, to which we can find no parallel amongst other nations. They founded a system of priest craft so galling in its tendency and operation, like of which we can hardly find anywhere since the times of the Druids. The institution of Caste, which has been the main object of their laws, had no existence among them originally. That it was an after-creation of their deep cunning is evident from their own writings. The highest rights, the highest privileges and gifts, and everything that would make the life of a Brahmin easy, smooth going and happy everything that would conserve or flatter their self pride, were specially inculcated, and enjoined, whereas the Sudras and Atisudras were regarded with supreme hatred and contempt, and the commonest rights of humanity were denied to them. Their touch, nay, even their shadow, is deemed a pollution. They are considered as mere chattels, and their life of no more value than that of meanest reptile; for it is enjoined that if a Brahmin, “kill a cat or an ichneumon, the bird Chasa, or a frog or a dog, a lizard, an owl, a crow or a Sudra” he is absolved of his sin by performing the Chandrayan Prachistya, a fasting penance, perhaps for a few hours or a day and requiring not much labour or trouble. While for a Sudra to kill a Brahmin is considered the most heinous offence he could commit, and the forefeiture of his life is the only punishment his crime is considered to merit. Happily for our Sudra brethren of the present day our enlightened British Rulers have not recognized these preposterous, inhuman and unjust penal enactments of the Brahmin legislators. They no doubt regard them more as ridiculous fooleries than as equitable laws. Indeed, no man possessing even a grain of common sense would regard them as otherwise. Anyone, who feels disposed to look a little more into the laws and ordinances as embodied in the Manava Dharma Shastra and other works of the same class, would undoubtedly be impressed with the deep cunning underlying them all. It may not, perhaps, be out of place to cite here a few instances in which the superiority or excellence of the Brahmins is held and enjoined on pain of Divine displeasure.

The Brahmin is styled the Lord of the universe even equal to the God himself. He is to be worshipped served and respected by all.
A Brahmin can do no wrong.
Never shall the king slay a Brahmin, though he has committed all possible crimes.
To save the life of Brahmin any falsehood may be told. There is no sin in it.
No one is take away anything belonging to a Brahmin.
A king, though dying with want, must not receive any tax from a Brahmin, nor suffer him to be afflicted with hunger or the whole kingdom will be afflicted with famine.
The feet of Brahmin are holy. In his let foot reside all the thirth (holy waters at places of pilgrimage) and by dipping it into water he makes it as holy as the waters at the holiest of the shrines.
A Brahmin may be compel a man of the servile class to perform servile duty, because such a man was created by the almighty only for the purpose of serving Brahmins.
A Sudra, though emancipated by his master, is not released from the state of servitude; for being born in a state which is natural to him, by whom can he be divested of his natural attributes?
Let a Brahmin not give temporal advice nor spiritual counsel to a Sudra.
No superfluous accumulation of wealth shall be made by a Sudra, even though he has the power to make, since a servile man who has amassed riches becomes proud, and by his insolence or neglect he gives pain even to Brahmins.
If a Sudra cohabits with a Brahmanee adulteress, his life is to be taken. But if a Brahmin goes even unto the lawful wife of a Sudra he is exempted from all corporal punishment.
It would be needless to go multiplying instances such as these. Hundreds of similar ordinances including many more of worse character than these can be found scattered over their books. But what can have been the motive and object of such cruel and inhuman Laws? They are, I believe, apparent to all but to the infatuated, the blind and the selfinterested. Anyone who runs may read them.
Their main object in fabricating these falsehoods was to dupe the minds of the ignorant and to rivet firmly on them the chains of perpetual bondage and slavery which their selfishness and cunning had forged. The severity of the laws as affecting then Sudras, and the intense hatred with which they were regarded by the Brahmins can be explained on no other supposition but that there was, originally between the two, a deadly feud, arising as we have shown above, from the advent of the latter into this land. It is surprising to think what a mass of specious fiction these interlopers invented with a view to hold the original occupiers of the soil fast in their clutches, and working on their credulity, rule securely for the ages to come. Anyone who will consider well the whole history of Brahmin domination in India and the tharldom under which it has retained the people even up to the present day will agree with us in thinking that no language could be too harsh by which to characterize the selfish heartlessness and the consummate cunning of the Brahmin tyranny by which India has been so long governed. How far the Brahmins have succeeded in their endeavor to enslave the minds of the Sudras and Atisudras, those of them who have come to know the true state of matters know very well to their cost. For generations past they have borne these chains of slavery and bondage. Innumerable Bhut writers, with their selfsame objects as those of manu and others of his class, added from time to time to the existing mass of legends, the idle phantasies of their own brains and palmed them off upon the ignorant masses as Divine inspiration, or as the acts of the Deity himself. The most immoral, inhuman, unjust actions and deeds have been attributed to that Being who is our Creator, Governor, and Protector, and who is all Holiness himself. These blasphemous writings, the products of the distempered brains of these interlopers, were considered as the most unpardonable of sins. This system of slavery, to which the Brahmins reduced the lower classes, is in no respects inferior to that which obtained a few years ago in America. In the days of rigid Brahmin dominancy, so lately as that of the time of the Peshwa, my Sudra brethren had evn greater hardships and oppression practiced upon them than what even the  slaves in America had to suffer. To this system of sefish superstation and bigotry, we are to attribute the stagnation and all the evils under which India has been groaning for many centuries past. It will, indeed, be difficult to name a single advantage which accrued to the aborigines from the advent of this intensely selfish and tyrannical sect. The Indian Ryot (Sudra and Atisudra) has been in fact a proverbial Milch Cow. He has passed from hand to hand. Those who successively held sway over him cared only to fatten themselves on the sweat of his brow, without caring for his welfare or condition. It was sufficient for their squeezing out of his as much as they possibly could. The Brahmin had in every large or small undertaking, in every domestic or public business, that the latter is by custom quite unable to transact any concern of moment without his aid.

This is even true at the present time. While the Sudra on the other hand is so far reconciled to the Brahmin yoke, that like the American slave he would resist any attempt that my be made for his deliverance and fight even against his benefactor. Under the guise of religion the Brahmins has his finger in every thing big or small, which the Sudra undertakes. Go to his house, to his field or to the court to which business may invite him, the Brahmin I there under some specious pretext or the other, trying to squeeze out him as much as his cunning and wily brain can manage. The Brahmin despoils the Sudra not only in his capacity of a priest, but does so in a variety of other ways. Having by his superior education and cunning monopolized all the higher places of emolument the ingenuity of his ways is past finding out as the reader will find out an attentive perusal of this book. In the most insignificant village as in the largest town, the Brahmin is the all in all; the be all the end all of the Ryot. He is the master, the ruler. The Patil of the village, the headman, is in fact a nonentity. The Kulkarni, the hereditary village accountant, the notorious quarrel monger, molds the Patil according to his wishes. He is the temporal and spiritual adviser of the ryots, the Soucar in his necessities and the general referee in all matters. In most instances the plans active mischief by advising opposite parties differently, so that he may feather its own nest well. If we go up higher, to the Court of Mamlatdar is to get round him, if not his own relatives, his castemen to fill the various offices under him. These actively foment quarrels and are the media of all corrupt practices prevailing generally about these Courts. If a Sudra or Atisudra repairs to his Court; the treatment which he receives is askin to what the meanest reptile gets. Instead of his case receiving a patient an careful hearing, a choice lot of abuse is showered on his devoted head, and his prayers is set aside on some pretext or other. Whereas if one of his own castemen were to repair to the Court on the self-same business, he is received with all courtesy and there is hardly any time lost in getting the matter right. If we go up still higher to the collector’s and Revenue Commissioners’s Courts and to the other Department of the Public Services, the Engineering, Educational etc. the same system is carried out on a smaller or greater scale. The higher European officers generally view men and things through Brahmin spectacles, and hence the deplorable ignorance thy often exhibit in forming a correct estimate of them. I have tried to place before my readers in the concluding portions of this book what expedients are employed by these Brahmin officials for fleecing the Kunbee in the various departments to which business or his necessities induce him to resort. Any one knowing intimately the working of the different departments, an the secret springs which are in motion, will unhesitatingly concur with me in saying that what I have described in the following pages is not one hundredth part o the rogueries that are generally practiced on my poor, illiterate and ignorant Sudra brethren. Though the Brahmin of the old Peshwa School is not quite the same as the Brahmin of the present day, though the march of Western idea and civilization is undoubtedly telling on his superstition and bigotry, he has not as yet abandoned his time-cherished notions of superiority or the dishonesty of his ways. The beef, the Mutton, the intoxicating beverages stronger and more fiery than the famed Somarasa, which their ancestors relished, as the veriest dainties are fast finding innumerable votaries amongst them.

The Brahmin of the present time finds to some extend, like Othelo, that his occupation is gone. But knowing full well this state of affairs is the Brahmin inclined to makes atonement for his past selfishness? Perhaps, it would have been useless to repine over what has been suffered and what has passed away had the present state been all that is desirable. We know perfectly well that the Brahmin will not descend from his self-raised high pedestal an meet his kunbee and low castes brethren on an equal footing without a struggle. Even the educated Brahmin who knows his exact position and how he has come by it, will not condescend to acknowledge the errors of his forefathers and willingly forego the long cherished false notions of his own superiority. At present not one has the moral courage to do what only duty demands, and as long as this continues, one sect distrusting and degrading another sect, the condition of the Sudras will remain unaltered, and India will never advance in greatness and prosperity.

Perhaps the part of the blame in bringing matters to this crisis may be justly laid to the credit of the Government. Whatever may have been their motives in providing ampler funds and greater facilities for higher education and neglecting that of masses, it will be acknowledged by all that injustice to the latter this is not as it should be. It is an admitted fact that the greater portions of the revenues of the Indian Empire aer derived from the Ryot’s labour – from the sweat of his brow. The higher and richer classes contribute little or nothing to the State exchequer. A well informed English writer states that,----
“Our income is derived, not from surplus profits, but from capital; not from luxuries but from the poorest necessaries. It is the products of sin and tears.”
That  Government should expend profusely a large of revenues thus raised, on the education of the higher classes, for it is these only who take advantage of it, it anything but just or equitable. Their object in patronizing this virtual class education appears to be to prepare scholars, “Who, it is thought would in time vend learning without money and without price.” If we can inspire, say they “the love of knowledge in the minds of the superior classes, the result will be a higher standard of morals in the cases of the individuals, a large amount of affection for the British Government, and an unconquerable desire to spread among their own countrymen the intellectual blessings which they have received.”
Regarding these objects of government the writer, above alluded to, states that:-
“We have never heard of philosophy more benevolent and more utopian. It is proposed by men who witness the wondrous changes brought about in the western world, purely by the agency of popular knowledge, to redress the defects of the two hundred millions of India, by giving superior education on the superior classes and to them only,”*** “We ask the friends of Indian universities to favour us with a single example of the truth of their theory from the instance which have already fallen within scope of their experience. They have educated many children of wealthy men, and have been the means of advancing very materially the worldly prospects of some of their pupils. But what contributions have these made to the great work of regenerating their fellowmen? How have they begun to act upon the masses? Have any of them formed classes at their own homes or elsewhere, for the instruction of their less fortunate or less wise countrymen? Or have they kept their knowledge to themselves, as a personal gift, not to be soiled by contact with ignorant vulgar? Have they in any way shown themselves anxious to advance the general interests and repay philanthropy with patriotism? Upon what ground it is asserted that the best way to advance the moral an intellectual welfare of the people is to raise the standard of instruction among the higher classes? A glorious argument this for aristocracy, were it only tenable. To show the growth if the national happiness, it would only be necessary to refer to the number of pupils at the colleges and the list of academic degrees. Each wrangler would be accounted a national benefactor; and the existence of Deans and Protors would be associated, like the game laws and the ten pound franchise, with the best laws and the ten pound franchise, with the best interests of the Constitution.”

Perhaps the most glaring tendency of the Government system of high class education has been the virtual monopoly of all the Higher offices under them by Brahmins. If the welfare of the Ryots is at heart, if it is the duty of Government to check a host of abuses, it behives them tonarrow this monopoly, day by day, so as to allow a sprinkling of he other castes to get into the public service. Perhaps some might be inclined to say that it is not feasible in the present state of education. Our only reply is that if Government look a little less after higher education and more towards the education of the masses, the former being able to take care of itself, there would be no difficulty in training up a body of men every way qualified and perhaps far better in moral and manners.

My object in writing the present volume is not only to tell my Sudra brethren how they have been duped by the Brahmins, but also to open the eyes of Government to the pernicious system of high class education which has hitherto been so persistently followed and which has hitherto been so persistently followed and which statesmen like Sir George Campbell the present Lieutenant Governor of Bengal, with broad and universal sympathies, are finding to be highly mischievous and pernicious to the interest of Government. I sincerely hope that Government will ere long see the error of their ways, trust less to writers or men who look through high class spectacles and take the glory into their own hands of emancipating my Sudra brethren from the trammels of bondage which the Brahmins have woven round them like the coil of serpent. It is no less the duty of such of my Sudra brethren as have  received any education to place before Government the true state of their fellowmen and Endeavour to the best of their power to emancipate themselves from Brahmins thralldom. Let there be school for Sudra in every village; but away with all Brahmin school-masters! The Sudra are the life and sinews of the country, and it is to them alone and to the Brahmins that the Government must ever look to tide them over their difficulties, financial as well as political. If the hearts and minds of the Sudras are made happy and contended the British Government need have no fear for their loyalty in future.

[1] A most remarkable and striking corroboration of these views is to be found in the religious rites observed on some of the grand festivals which have a reference to Bali Raja, the great king who appears to have reigned once in the hearts and affections of the Sudras and whom the Brahmins rulers displaced. On the day of Dashara, the wife, the sisters of a Sudra, when he returns fromhis worship of the Shami Tree and after the distribution of its leaves, which are regarded on that day as equivalent to gold, amongst his friends, relations and acquaintances, he is greeted, at home with a welcome ida pida zavo ani baliche rajya ievo. ‘Let all troubles and misery go, and the kingdom of Bali come.’ Whereas the wife and sisters of a Brahmin place on that day in the foreground of the house an image of Bali, made generally of wheaten or other flour and when the Brahmin returns from his worship of the Shami Tree he takes the stalk of it, pokes with it the belly of the image and then passes into the house. This contrariety, in the religious customs and usages obtaining amongst the Sudras and the Brahmins and of which many more examples might be adduced, can be explained on no other supposition but that which I have tried to confirm and elucidate in  these pages.
