Stripped Tiger and two cubs are moving around in Tuem, Pernem as per information received 24 hours ago. Forests of Pernem are facing aggression from Mopa Airport, Tourism cum real estste projects and irresponsible Forest administration in Goa that engages in innumerable sabotage. The situation is moving into dangerous phase after India "annexed Goa through conquest" in 1961 as Supreme Court of India noted in Gosalia Judgement. Democracy has proved to be conduit to current state of affairs with buying and selling of votes.
However we are happy to note Ray of hope from Morjim youth to fight back and protect nature and indigenous people in Pernem. We express our support to Mayur Shedgaokar and his newly formed team in Morjim.
